A Study On The Optimal Design Of The Tourist-oriented Village Of Zhenjiang Jiangxinzhou Based On Landscape Performance Evaluation

Ecological environment is crucial for human survival and development.However,during the development of industrial society,ecological issues have attracted widespread attention.To address the severe challenges of natural resource scarcity,climate change,and biodiversity loss,it is essential to establish an ecological civilization concept and promote sustainable development.In this context,a series of policies have been introduced by the government to promote the integration of rural development and tourism industry,further facilitating rural revitalization.Nevertheless,tourism-oriented rural development faces certain shortcomings and difficulties.On one hand,the lagging infrastructure construction and deteriorating ecological environment in rural areas hinder the full potential of rural tourism resources.On the other hand,the rural tourism management system is not yet well-established,and the implementation of relevant policies needs to be strengthened,posing challenges to the sustainable development of the rural tourism industry.This study aims to provide valuable insights for rural revitalization in China by evaluating the landscape performance of tourism-oriented rural projects and summarizing sustainable development practices.By comprehensively referring to domestic and international landscape performance achievements,indicators,and policies,this study constructs a landscape performance evaluation index system applicable to tourism-oriented rural projects.The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)is used to determine the importance of indicators,and an evaluation model is established using the Comprehensive Index Method.Taking Zhenjiang Jiangxinzhou Rural Tourism Resort Area as a representative case,this study conducts an empirical analysis.The on-site investigation and landscape performance evaluation element analysis results show that the landscape performance evaluation of the area is at a "good" level,but some evaluation indicators score low.This provides a basis for optimizing strategies.Ultimately,based on the evaluation results and the site survey,optimization strategies are proposed from multiple aspects,such as environmental protection,economic and social development,and aesthetic enhancement,to promote the sustainable development of the tourism area and provide reference for other tourism-oriented rural projects that are being planned or have been completed.The significance of this study lies in providing a new evaluation perspective for rural tourism development,which helps governments,enterprises,and all sectors of society to better understand and promote the sustainable development of rural tourism.The proposed optimization strategies will contribute to improving the ecological environment and socio-economic conditions of tourism-oriented rural projects and enhancing the overall competitiveness of rural tourism.In practice,the evaluation methods and optimization strategies proposed in this study can not only serve as a basis for government departments to formulate relevant policies but also provide valuable references for rural tourism project developers,managers,and investors.By implementing the optimization strategies proposed in this paper,tourism-oriented rural projects can pay more attention to the balance of ecological protection,economic benefits,and social benefits,thus achieving sustainable development.
