The Application Of Public Art Works Of Cartoon Images On The Theme Of Journey To The West In Children’s Entertainment Space

As the pace of modern life continues to accelerate,all kinds of people are under different pressures,it is particularly important to find suitable carriers and ways for emotional catharsis,emotional expression and inner comfort.Cartoon images with rich instant colors and pleasant emotions have become a new favorite of artists and audiences,giving us a new shock and inspiration to the traditional values we have inherited for a long time.Now,cartoon image has been a brand new art form,has been used in many industries,it is with unique shape characteristics impact our emotional cognition.Cartoon images not only carry people’s memories of watching cartoons in their childhood,but also achieve certain social effects and promote the spread of cartoon culture.In this paper,by means of literature reading,picture data collection,social research and so on,the environment of children’s entertainment space in Nanchang city and the feasibility of placing public art works are analyzed.Taking the theme of Journey to the West as the entry point,he created a series of paintings and sculptures titled "Four Monks of the Tang Dynasty Traveling to the West".The first part of the paper mainly puts forward the research background,research purpose and significance of the subject.The research status of cartoon public art works on the theme of Journey to the West and the layout and design of children’s entertainment space at home and abroad are summarized.Draw a mind map,cite research methods,and analyze the key,difficult and innovative points of the subject.The second part combs the relevant concepts of cartoon images and the theoretical knowledge of Western Cubism,and analyzes the types of public art works,providing theoretical support for the thesis and creation.The third part talks about the feasibility analysis of the application of the cartoon image themed public art works of Journey to the West in the public space,including the internal situation of the children’s entertainment space and the surrounding environment,etc.,from the four aspects of theme,volume,material and color.The fourth part introduces the creation practice of the works.Through the investigation of children’s entertainment space,I find that there are few public art works with cartoon images in the environment,so I decide to apply the public art works with the theme of Journey to the West to children’s entertainment space.It aims to better integrate public art works into children’s daily life through the diversity and charm of art,and create a warm and joyful atmosphere for them to enjoy.
