| Campus historical buildings are material heritages that witness the development of education and historical changes. The artistic value and cultural value contained in the buildings are of great significance to the continuation and construction of campus culture and urban culture. In order to adapt the campus historical buildings to the new functional orientation and needs,a large number of campus historical buildings have been included in the renewal category. However, due to the limitations of the historical building itself and the lack of protection awareness of the construction team, the historical buildings on the campus were remodeled with modern means without thorough consideration, which seriously damaged the historical texture of the historical buildings on the campus, which threatened the continuation of the city’s history and culture.Sexuality wreaks havoc. How to change the current status of campus historical buildings on the basis of protecting historical buildings to meet the multiple needs of the city, culture, space and function, and rebuild the good interactive relationship between campus historical buildings and urban space is the current activation of campus historical buildings to be solved question.Based on the concept of symbiosis, this study gradually deduces from the theoretical level to the strategy and practical application level, explores the construction of the symbiotic system of campus historical buildings, and proposes a revitalization design strategy for campus historical buildings,in order to achieve sustainable development of campus historical buildings.First of all, this paper discusses the status quo of the revitalization of historical buildings at home and abroad.Secondly,it summarizes the concept of symbiosis and its development in the field of architecture, and verifies the feasibility and necessity of introducing the concept of symbiosis into historical buildings on campus.By establishing a symbiotic system of historical buildings on campus, exploring the internal mechanism of interaction and coordination in the internal and external symbiotic systems, including research on symbiotic units, symbiotic environments, and symbiotic models,in order to promote the protection of historical buildings and the sustainability of the campus.Continuous development provides theoretical and practical guidance.Thirdly, based on the symbiotic system research,a more systematic and complete design strategy for the regeneration of historical buildings on campus is proposed. Finally, combined with the case study of Yingyuan canteen of Wuhan University,an attempt was made to combine theoretical research and practical application, and the environmental space of Yingyuan canteen was updated and transformed to create a new landmark that harmoniously develops with the campus, with the city, and with culture. The revitalization of historical campus buildings based on the concept of symbiosis is the continuation of the historical context and the best interpretation of the sustainable development of buildings. The author hopes that the research in this paper can provide a new perspective and some reference value for the research on the revitalization of historical campus buildings. |
