| With the development of the city entering the stock era,the focus of promoting the urban environmental space returns to the landscape renewal of the old city. The historical district located in the core of the old city is an important carrier of urban history and culture.Block public space undertakes the display of regional history, cultural features and daily use and other functions. The users’ demand for the function of the public space is increasing day by day,but the space renewal design of the historical district has many restrictive conditions and weak adjustment, which leads to the limitation of landscape renewal and the low comfort of the place. It is difficult to implement the renewal design of public space in urban historic districts. In recent years, pocket park has attracted much attention as a small-scale and flexible form of public space, which can not only meet the multi-dimensional needs of users in the limited space, but also stimulate the vitality of the district, which is of great significance to the design of public space in historic districts.Based on the concept of micro-renewal,this paper takes the public space of Nanhuamen Historic District in Taiyuan,Shanxi Province as the research object, and studies the spatial landscape design of the block in the form of Pocket Park.By using the methods of literature research, case analysis, field investigation, questionnaire and other research methods,a questionnaire survey is conducted according to the needs of the users, and the current situation of the survey and design site is analyzed and summarized.According to the principles of integrity, humanization, culture and sustainability,it is applied to the practice of Pocket Park landscape design. As the capital city of Shanxi Province,Taiyuan is rich in historical and cultural resources, including many historical buildings and historical neighborhoods. The pocket park design of Nanhuamen block in Taiyuan provides a universal reference for the public space design of historic districts in Shanxi Province.Due to the similar spatial layout of neat, symmetrical and straight streets in ancient China.Furthermore,it can provide reference value for the public space design of urban historic districts in China. |
