A Study Of Community Environmental Renewal From A Child-Friendly Perspective

The community environment is the urban outdoor environment that is most closely related to children in high-density cities.With the opening of China’s family planning policy,the proportion of children in the city is increasing rapidly,and the development of children is becoming more and more concerned.Building a child-friendly community environment is not only a realistic need to realize a "child-centered" city,but also an objective need for population and social development in the new era.Taking a child-friendly perspective as the starting point,this thesis uses the psychology of children’s behavior and the scale of children’s outdoor activities as the theoretical basis,and summarizes the components of a child-friendly community by analyzing excellent cases of child-friendly communities at home and abroad and combining them with literature.Taking the Chuanghui community,the largest resettlement community in Xi’an,as the research object,we intend to comprehensively grasp the utilization status of public space,play facilities and trails in the Chuanghui community through fieldwork,questionnaire survey and comparative analysis,summarize the behavioral characteristics of various activities carried out by children in the Chuanghui community,and evaluate the spatial satisfaction of the existing Chuanghui community public space on this basis,and summarize the current Based on this,we assessed the satisfaction of the existing public space in the Chuanghui community and concluded that the current layout of the public space in the Chuanghui community is unreasonable,the public facilities are single,the play facilities are single,and the travel path is unsafe..Based on this,we assessed the spatial satisfaction of the existing resettlement community public spaces and concluded that the current layout of the resettlement community public spaces is unreasonable,the public facilities are single,the play facilities are single and the travel paths are unsafe.On this basis,we proposed the design principles of "diversity","accessibility","safety" and "fun" design principles,and proposed four levels of "space," "roads," "facilities," and "systems".Based on the above findings,the design practice of Chuanghui F was carried out to complete the overall design of the public space and the design of the spatial nodes of the community.This thesis is expected to contribute to the design of environmental regeneration in "child-friendly" urban communities,to provide positive guidance for the creation of children’s activity spaces in future "resettlement" communities,and to provide inspiration and reference for research on similar issues.
