Design Study On The Retrofitting Of Existing Hotel Buildings With Elderly Service Facilities In Shijiazhuang

Aging of population age structure is a universal problem in the world.After China steps into the aging society,the aging problem is aggravated,and the corresponding pressure on pension resources is gradually heavy.The huge elderly population leads to the great difference in the balance between supply and demand of pension supporting facilities,with the transformation of the main social contradiction.The oversupply of completed hotels has led to a large number of idle hotel buildings,and the initial replacement of their functions is imminent.Therefore,it is necessary to make full use of hotel building resources,activate the existing idle hotel buildings through aging reconstruction,and provide a better environment for the elderly.In existing studies,there are relatively more discussions on the transformation of idle buildings into elderly care service facilities,but there are few studies on the aging adaptation of hotel buildings,and the evaluation of the potential for aging adaptation of hotel buildings is even more rare.The purpose of this study is to combine the reconstruction of existing hotels in Shijiazhuang City with the construction of elderly service facilities,and the main objective is to establish an evaluation index of the potential of existing hotels to adapt to the aging transformation.First of all,this thesis combs and analyzes the existing relevant theories and cases at home and abroad,and takes the transformation measures and design points of theoretical support and practical projects from them.Secondly,this thesis takes Shijiazhuang City as an example,analyzes the characteristics of hotels and pension service facilities in Shijiazhuang and the needs and wishes of the elderly through the data obtained from questionnaires and field research.Then,by sorting out literature and consulting experts,it selects the evaluation indicators of the potential of the existing hotel buildings to adapt to the aging transformation,constructs the evaluation system model and calculates the weight of the indicators.At the same time,starting from the goal of transformation design,this thesis summarizes the aging transformation strategy of hotel buildings with certain universality through the research and analysis of literature and actual cases,and further expounds the research of transformation design with the practical case design as the supplementary evidence of strategy,in order to transform existing hotel buildings in Shijiazhuang City into elderly service facilities in the future through this thesis.
