Research On The Design Of Public Facilities From The Perspective Of Cultural And Tourism Integration

In this thesis,the design of public facilities at Echeng Iron and Steel Plant is taken as a case study,in which the purpose is to put forward solutions to relevant design issues related to public facilities in the scenic area of Echeng Iron and Steel Plant under the guidance of culture and tourism integration perspective.How to address the deficiencies in the design of public facilities in the scenic area of Echeng Iron and Steel Plant from the perspective of culture and tourism integration is taken as the research question.The research questions involved in this thesis are mainly answered through four aspects:Firstly,the combing and elaboration on the basic concepts of culture and tourism integration and public facilities are conducted,obtaining the correlation between culture and tourism integration and the design of public facilities in scenic areas.Public facilities with cultural tourism elements are an emotional communication of the unique culture of the scenic spot,which can be transmitted through excellent public facility design."Cultural and tourism integration","public facilities" and "scenic spots" are inextricably linked,and the mutual integration between the three can form value co-creation.Secondly,the investigation and research on the present status of the scenic area and public facilities within the Echeng Iron and Steel Plant is conducted,in which its cultural and scenic characteristics,as well as the problems in the design and layout of public facilities are summarized respectively.such as the material of the public seat has low corrosion resistance,the design does not conform to the ergonomic principle,the number of arrangements is insufficient,the design of the public seat is too monotonous,the homogenization is serious,and the seat placement is messy,and the lack of scientific layout.Thirdly,through questionnaire research and semi-structured interviews,the objectives of the public facilities design of Echeng Iron and Steel Plant are studied,and the first-level goals of public facility design:function,color,shape,material and style,and the corresponding secondary objectives:to meet the use of tourists of all ages,the coordination between facilities and the environment,color contrast,simple shape,matching materials with the company’s products,using environmental protection,green materials,reflecting the value of industrial culture,and the facilities have a systematic style unity.Fourthly,in line with the collected cultural and tourism elements,the primary and secondary design goals are combined to carry out design practices,the public facilities problems identified in the research of Echeng Iron and Steel Plant are answered through design solutions,and the solutions to these problems are given.Finally,the various correlations between the integration of culture and tourism and the design of public facilities in scenic areas in this thesis are considered to carry out the relevant practical research on the design of public facilities in the scenic area of Echeng Iron and Steel Plant under the guidance of the concept that "culture+tourism" are able to realize deep integration,promote each other,form new advantages,achieve new development,and satisfy people’s better tourism experience.On this basis,this thesis gives a set of public facility design plans in line with the actual situation of the scenic area of Echeng Iron and Steel Plant.
