Study On The Mechanism Of Staff’s Behavioral Tendency During Fire On The Evacuation Efficiency Of Shopping Mall Fire

Shopping malls are densely populated and have complex internal structures,which can easily cause panic and crowding in the event of a fire,thus affecting evacuation efficiency.The mall staff is distributed in multiple points and three-dimensional network in the mall,and is familiar with the mall environment and evacuation paths,so if the mall staff can give full play to their role in case of fire,it will improve the evacuation efficiency and better protect the safety of customers.Therefore,this paper considers the behavioral tendencies of mall staff during a fire and studies the influence mechanism of mall fire evacuation efficiency.Based on the theory of planned behavior,the behavioral tendency of mall staff during fire is studied,and a building simulation model is constructed to simulate the mall fire evacuation considering the role of staff.In this paper,the theory of planned behavior was extended by the study related to selfefficacy,and six variables of behavioral attitude,subjective norm,self-efficacy,fire safety awareness,behavioral choice motivation,and fire cognitive ability were identified as the influencing factors of mall staff’s behavioral tendency during fire.Fuzzy DEMATEL model analysis and literature theory analysis were used to construct hypothetical models for each influencing factor,and 321 questionnaires were collected and analyzed for reliability using SPSS26.0 software.The constructed structural equation models were tested for direct effects,mediated effects,and total effects using AMOS26.0 software,and the SPSS26.0 software was used to analyze the variability of mall workers with different individual characteristics.The fire load density of each area of mall X was calculated to determine the fire development type of the mall as rapid,and the fire risk of the mall was analyzed.Finally,the mall building model was constructed using Pathfinder software to simulate the evacuation simulation of the mall.After the structural equation modeling study and analysis,the influence of each influencing factor on the behavioral tendency of the mall staff during fire and the extent of the influence of each influencing factor on the behavioral tendency of the mall staff during fire are derived,and relevant insights and suggestions are put forward for improving the level of behavioral tendency of the mall staff during fire;through the mall simulation model construction,the conclusion that the behavioral tendency of the mall staff during fire is favorable when it can significantly alleviate the panic psychology of customers and the herd behavior,and after the analysis The study also proposes recommendations for the mall leaders and building designers.
