The Development History Of Event Memorial Landscape(after 1912)and Its Contemporary Application

As an important part of the construction of national spiritual civilization,memorial landscape is of great significance in the continuation of historical context,shaping urban characteristics and inheriting national spirit.In view of the lack of independent thinking of Chinese style for a long time,this paper puts forward research ideas from the perspective of historical development.This paper uses field investigation,historical data combing,comparison,case analysis,summary and other research methods,combined with modern landscape design theory to study the event memorial landscape in China.Firstly,this paper systematically analyzes the types,characteristics and values of commemorative event landscapes in China,and divides them into four types: natural disaster,war,politics and celebration.The landscape features are analyzed from three aspects: narrative and lyricism,inheritance and innovation,humanity and nature.The value of landscape is analyzed from the perspectives of history,culture,collective memory and industrial development.After that,the paper summarizes the development process of China’s event memorial landscape after 1912,explores its landscape characteristics and style evolution in different historical periods,analyzes its birth reasons,design ideas and development trends combined with cases,and explores a development path based on national culture,"ancient for the present" and "foreign for the Chinese" in historical practice.On this basis,it further analyzes the design elements,design content,functional space design and space construction of contemporary commemorative landscape in China.Finally,the design principles of respecting the history,highlighting the theme,coordinating and unifying,and taking people as the center are put forward according to the related theories.The design idea of selecting theme--information extraction--design scheme is sorted out.In order to provide theoretical support and design reference for the development of event memorial landscape in China,it summarizes the expression techniques such as scene reproduction,metaphor,symbol,white space and combination of virtuality and reality.
