Research On Building Vitality Of Public Space In Qingdao Independent Residential Historical District

In recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization,more and more cities have begun to adopt the stock renewal mode,that is,to renew and create vitality for the old urban areas and historic districts.This model can maximize the use of existing urban resources,reduce land waste and promote sustainable urban development.As an important part of urban development,Qingdao historic district has special historical and cultural value and important significance of urban renewal.However,at present,there are many problems in the process of development,such as the lack of public space,single function,only focusing on the protection of the material level,ignoring the improvement of the function of public space,etc.,which makes the historic district unable to adapt to the current development of The Times and social needs,and thus resulting in the decline of the vitality of the public space of historic district.This paper takes the public space of Qingdao independent residential historic district as the research object,based on the "five elements" of the urban image theory,puts forward the method of creating vitality of the public space of Qingdao independent residential historic district.First of all,through the study of the independent residential historic district and the vitality of public space related literature,summed up the vitality of the influencing factors.Secondly,field investigation and questionnaire survey are used to investigate and analyze the vitality status quo of Qingdao independent residential historic blocks and sort out the current problems.Based on the "five elements" of urban image as the theoretical guidance,from the five aspects of "regional function,block road,block landmark,node space and urban interface",this paper puts forward the vitality building method of independent residential historic district public space.And use this method to Liuzishan villa group vitality construction practice.It is hoped that the study of this scheme can play a certain role in the vitality construction of public space of the same type of historical blocks in Qingdao,and at the same time,it can propose new ideas and methods for reference in order to better display the urban style of Qingdao and stimulate the vitality of historical blocks.
