As a unique form of historical architecture in Qingdao,courtyard architecture is an important carrier of the history and culture of the Qingdao region.The existing over 300 courtyards still play an irreplaceable role in the social life of Qingdao.The Qingdao Municipal Government is conducting an overall expropriation and renovation of the courtyard.If energy efficiency improvement measures can be combined with the renovation process of historical buildings,it can not only contribute to the low-carbon cause of the city,but also make old houses "warm in winter and cool in summer",reducing the cost of building use.This article focuses on energy-saving renovation strategies for the building envelope structure of Qingdao Courtyard from the perspective of economic benefits.Through literature analysis and field research,the historical evolution and existing problems of Qingdao courtyard buildings were sorted out,and the current regulatory framework and examples of courtyard renovation were analyzed to clarify the potential for protective energy-saving renovation.Then,the iconic courtyard "Pingkang Wuli" on Huangdao Road market was selected,and through on-site testing,it was found that it has problems such as severe aging of the enclosure structure and poor thermal performance of various parts.On the basis of studying the commonly used energy-saving renovation materials and construction methods for the enclosure structure of the courtyard building,research is conducted on how to balance the energy-saving effect and economic benefits of energy efficiency improvement measures for the courtyard building.Firstly,the Rhinoceros&Grasshopper software based on the Energyplus kernel was used to construct a simulation model for the energy consumption of Pingkang Wuli.The energy-saving transformation conditions of a single part of the building envelope structure,namely the exterior wall,roof,exterior windows,and floor,were simulated,and the corresponding energy-saving and economic benefits were obtained.Then,research was conducted on the working conditions of collaborative transformation of multiple parts of the enclosure structure.For various working conditions where(1)the performance of each part is improved,(2)the performance of the exterior wall is not improved,(3)the performance of the roof is not improved,and(4)the performance of the floor is not improved,orthogonal experimental schemes are designed to obtain corresponding energy-saving and economic benefits.The analysis method for the coordinated transformation of single and multiple parts of the Pingkang Wuli enclosure structure can provide an effective method reference for studying the energy efficiency improvement of other existing Qingdao courtyard buildings from point to area.Under the framework of historical building protection regulations,improving the energy efficiency level of the building envelope structure of Qingdao Courtyard is not only conducive to the low-carbon development of the city,but also improves the comfort of the historical building interior.It is also conducive to the protection and inheritance of historical culture,enabling it to better play its social and economic value.
