In recent years,the Chinese government has issued several policies to promote the development of EPC projects while encouraging and supporting the use of BIM technology for intelligent construction and green construction in the construction industry.However,the lack of a fully popularized general contracting model in China has resulted in hindrances to the normal project delivery by the construction unit due to ineffective integration between design,procurement,and construction links.BIM technology offers unique advantages such as optimization,visualization,coordination,and simulation that can effectively manage the construction process,enabling the construction unit to achieve progress targets.Therefore,the application of BIM technology in EPC projects for construction progress management is becoming increasingly popular.This paper focuses on the construction progress management level of EPC projects based on BIM 4D technology from the perspective of general contracting enterprises.Based on the hierarchical structure of the AHP method,the construction progress management index system is constructed.Through literature research and questionnaire surveys,the initial construction progress factors are selected,and Rough Sets Theory is used to reduce the attributes of the initial indicators to ensure the independence of each indicator,and conduct a reliability test on the index system to ensure its scientific rationality.Due to the gray nature of the evaluation of the influencing factors of the construction progress and management level,the construction progress management based on the combined weighting of the ideal point method and the gray comprehensive evaluation method is constructed to evaluate the model.This paper takes the actual EPC project as the verification object.Through the comparison of the theoretical model evaluation and the current situation of site management,the gray comprehensive evaluation model constructed has certain feasibility for the evaluation of the construction progress management level.Therefore,this evaluation model will help the general contracting enterprise analyze the progress management level in the construction process,improve the management method in time,better achieve the progress goal,and improve the enterprise benefit.
