Due to the uncertainty of EPC project construction,the number of participants is numerous and scattered,and the general contractor needs to give full play to its autonomy and flexibility in the face of complex project management and construction,so its innovation behavior is an important factor to successfully achieve the overall goal of the project and improve project performance.Based on the theory of Information Economics,due to the imperfect information transmission mechanism of EPC project objectively,and the lack of trust foundation that the principal-agent problems are easy to be induced among EPC project participants subjectively,there is information asymmetry in project management,which restricts the autonomy of the EPC general contractor innovation behavior performance and the control of the implementation effect.Through its characteristics of information sharing and promoting the communication and cooperation of construction participants,BIM technology can reduce the impact of information asymmetry and improve the cooperation mode and trust relationship between the owner and the general contractor,and ultimately promote the general contractor to perform innovative behavior.Through theoretical review and literature analysis,this study integrates BIM technology and organizational authorization,and explores the evolution logic of BIMbased empowerment climate for enabling EPC project scenarios with BIM technology.Combined with social cognitive theory,this study constructs a theoretical model and puts forward relevant research hypotheses,so that to explore the relationship among BIM-based empowerment climate,inter-organization trust,psychological empowerment and innovation behavior.This study selects domestic and foreign mature scales to measure variables,and applies SPSS 26.0 statistics software to test the reliability and validity,correlation analysis and intermediary effect of the data.The following conclusions are drawn through empirical analysis:(1)the BIM-based empowerment climate has a direct positive effect on the general contractor innovation behavior;(2)The BIM-based empowerment climate indirectly affects the general contractor innovation behavior through the independent intermediary role of interorganization trust between the owner and the general contractor;(3)The BIM-based empowerment climate indirectly affects the general contractor innovation behavior through the independent intermediary role of general contractor psychological empowerment;(4)The BIM-based empowerment climate indirectly affects the general contractor innovation behavior through the chain mediation of inter-organization trust and psychological empowerment.Based on social cognition theory,principal-agent theory and information economics theory,this research explains the evolution logic of the BIM-based empowerment climate,and how the BIM-based empowerment climate affects the general contractor innovation behavior through the internal incentive effect of exchange relationship and self cognition.Finally,the research provides relevant suggestions for EPC project management based on the empirical results.
