Identification And Analysis Of The Historical Landscape Characteristics In Linpan Rural Areas

China has a tradition of agricultural culture for thousands of years.Through the accumulation of long-term interaction between man and land,it has formed a colorful local rural landscape with multiple values such as history,culture,ecology and art.However,the traditional rural landscape formed in history is being strongly impacted by the rapid development of modern industry and modern science and technology.It is not only necessary but also urgent to study the protection,inheritance and innovation of rural landscape.The Linpan is one of the important local landscapes in the traditional agricultural era of China.Its unique compound rural scattered settlements have outstanding agricultural cultural heritage value,which constantly develops dynamically in the evolution of time and space,and there are different rural changes in the Linpan landscape in different times.Based on the research perspective of landscape history,this paper takes the rural landscape of the Linpan as the research object,adopts the historical landscape characterization(HLC)method practiced in England for nearly 30 years,and from the overall rural environment,integrates the rural landscape into the historical dimension comprehensive research,pays attention to the historical characteristics of rural landscape,tries to identify and analyze the Linpan rural historical landscape characteristics,puts forward targeted measures for the management and development of rural landscape with full coverage at all scales,and explores the path of rural landscape protection and sustainable development.The research contents mainly include:First of all,it analyzes the background of rural landscape management and protection,discusses the current predicament of rural landscape protection in China,introduces the development concept of landscape history,introduces the research methods of HLC,and briefly summarizes its workflow.Secondly,take Pidu District as an example to identify the rural historical landscape characters of Linpan: after combining desk work and landscape investigation,classify the rural historical landscape characters of Linpan in Pidu District and build a glossary,superimpose historical maps and historical documents,translate and extract historical landscape information,build a rural historical landscape character database of Linpan in Pidu District based on GIS platform,and draw broad type maps and hlc type maps of historical landscape characters by visual interpretation.Finally,based on the recognition results of rural historical landscape characters of Linpan in Pidu District,the application prospect of rural historical landscape character map and database of Linpan in Pidu District is put forward,including three aspects: recording the historical landscape information of the whole region,sorting out the landscape pattern from a historical perspective,and bringing planning and development into a unified framework,and putting forward targeted landscape planning suggestions for the rural historical landscape of Linpan.In this paper,it is the first time to identify the characteristics of rural historical landscape at the county level in China,and the characteristics map of rural historical landscape in Linpan is constructed,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The components of rural historical landscape in Linpan have changed greatly;(2)The rural historical landscape of Linpan shows the trend of regional characteristics;(3)The method of historical landscape characteristics is suitable for the innovative practice of county-scale landscape in western Sichuan plain.This paper provides a new perspective for the study of rural landscape,and explores a set of new methods for the management and protection of rural landscape with research scale,workload and work difficulty within the operable and realizable range.
