Abstract/Summary:
Design specifications for cement concrete road and urban road pavements now include reliability theory and target reliability levels for different grades of pavement.However,there is currently no unified and convenient method to accurately determine whether the pavement structure reliability in the design meets the target reliability requirements or to analyze and calculate the reliability of existing cement concrete pavement structures.Additionally,no published and mature calculation software exists.Therefore,in order to analyze and calculate the structural reliability of the existing cement concrete pavement in the design,and to conduct a more detailed and in-depth study on the structural reliability and random parameter sensitivity of the cement concrete pavement,This paper presents a software tool that can perform reliability analysis and calculation for all types of cement concrete pavement structures for highways and urban roads.Based on the design specifications of cement concrete pavement for highways and urban roads,the following work had been carried out.1.The mechanical calculation model and a structural function suitable for all combinations of cement concrete pavement structures were established.2.Based on the mechanical calculation model and the pavement structural functional function,a software that can calculate and analyze the structural reliability of various type structures of cement concrete pavement was developed based on MATLAB.3.The correctness and practicability of the software was tested through examples.The software was developed based on the current design specifications and includes several innovative functions such as reliability calculation,parameter sensitivity analysis,and pavement structure optimization based on reliability calculation results.Users can easily obtain the reliability of cement concrete pavement structures,identify the main influencing factors of pavement structure failure through the software’s parameter sensitivity analysis function,and optimize the pavement structure.The paper also presents case calculations to verify the correctness and practicality of the software.This software provides an accurate and reliable calculation result,reducing the workload for practitioners and providing a platform for conducting research on the reliability analysis and calculation of cement concrete pavement structures.
