The probability design method for cement concrete pavement has considered the factors in the actual project such as structural design, construction, materials, vehicle load, and climates and so on, which produces indefinite influence to the cement concrete pavement, so this method obtains the widespread value in our country. In order to consider the factors better, instead of the traditional coefficient of safety, the concept of reliability makes the design of the pavement more scientific in the new edition Specifications of Cement Concrete Pavement Design for Highway. Reliability of the pavement products can reflect the whole quality of the pavement which can be used as a consistent indicator for the construction quality control. This paper is for the purpose of studying the application of the reliability theory in the cement concrete pavement construction process.Firstly, this paper established the indicator system of quality control for slip form paving of cement concrete pavement. Based on the principal component analysis method, the key parameters of construction quality control for cement concrete pavement were identified as main influencing factors for the analysis of variability and calculation of reliability according to the examination data of Jixi—Nehe road Linkou—Tai Roomy segment. Then, this paper carried on statistic analysis to massive sample data of cement concrete pavement structure parameters using the mathematical statistics method, and determined the probability distribution type and variation scope of cement concrete pavement structure parameters in Linkou—Tai Roomy segment. This paper used two approaches to compute the pavement reliability:JC method and Bayesian method which the reliability in 5 sections of Linkou—Tai Roomy segment met the design goals of reliability.Eventually, based on the key parameters of reliability analysis, using dynamic control technology, the whole quality of slip form paving of cement concrete pavement should be controlled in Jixi—Nehe road Linkou—Tai Roomy segment. In order to guarantee the quality of pavement, the pavement structure should meet the required reliability in the design reference period.
