The main purpose of this experient is analyze the difference of blood biochemical indexes between green peacock species and blue peacock species,on the one hand,to establish a complete set of normal reference values and reference ranges of blood biochemical indexes of blue peacock,so as to provide important reference for breeding and disease prevention of blue peacock. On the other hand,it provides a simple reference for disease prevention and control of rare green peacock species to study the difference of blood biochemical indexes of peacock species. The experiments were conducted on artificially raised female blue peacocks in the egg-laying and non-egg-laying stages, male blue peacocks in the breeding and non-breeding stages.Using mindray automatic biochemical analyzer to peacock blue blood of alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase and gamma glutamine transferase, total protein, albumin, globulin, total bilirubin,UREA nitrogen, creatinine, blood glucose,Blood calcium, total cholesterol, phosphorus, white balls than and UREA nitrogen and creatinine ratio of UREA/CREA 15 biochemical indexes were determined,In addition, statistical analysis was conducted according to gender,egg-laying period and breeding period to test the significance of intra-species differences of blue peacock.Statistical significance test of interspecies difference between blue peacock and green peacock was conducted according to gender groupingThe results showed that the total protein, albumin and gamma glutamine transaminase in the blood of blue peacock had significant gender differences(P<0.05),Alkaline phosphatase, total bilirubin, creatinine, blood calcium, blood phosphorus, globulin, white ball ratio and urea nitrogen creatinine ratio have extremely significant gender differences(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in gender between other biochemical indicators(P>0.05).Total cholesterol and urea-creatinine ratio in blood during laying period.Significantly higher than non-beat period(P<0.05),alkaline phosphatase, total protein, total bilirubin, creatinine, blood calcium, blood phosphorus and globulin in the blood during laying period were extremely significantly higher than non-beat period(P<0.01).The blood glucose, alanine aminotransferase, urea nitrogen, and white ball ratio were extremely significantly lower than the non-beat period(P<0.01).gamma glutamine transaminase and albumin were different but not significant during the laying and non-laying stages(P>0.05);There were significant differences in the levels of alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase and albumin, and white ball ratio in the blood of the male blue peacock during the breeding and non-breeding periods(P<0.05).There is extremely significant in blood sugar, urea nitrogen, and blood phosphorus.(P<0.01),other biochemical indicators are different but not significant during the breeding and non-breeding periods(P>0.05).The results show that:First, there is no significant difference in gamma glutamine transaminase and albumin between laying period and non-laying period of female blue peafowl,so when establishing the reference value and range of female blue peafowl, you can consider these two categories without distinction as to whether they are laying or not.Second, there were no significant differences ingamma glutamine transaminase, total protein, total bilirubin, total cholesterol, blood calcium, globulin between the breeding and non-breeding periods of male blue peafowl You may want to consider these items without distinguishing between breeding periods.Third, there is no significant gender difference in alanine aminotransferase, urea nitrogen, blood glucose, total cholesterol,so when establishing the reference value and reference range of normal blood biochemical indexes of blue peacock, these indexes can not be differentiated by sex.
