Analysis And Evaluation Of Wild Ornamental Plant Resources In Yinping Mountain Nature Reserve Of Dongguan

Ornamental plants are plants with ornamental value that can enrich people’s lives and beautify the environment.In this paper,by referring to data and field researches,collecting specimens and recording plant images and vegetation community information,the species composition and flora of wild ornamental plants protected by Yinping Mountain Nature Reserve are analyzed in detail.Also,ornamental traits,species richness,habitat diversity,and life form,etc.are analyzed to provide a reference for the sustainable development,utilization and protection of Yinping Mountain Nature Reserve’s wild ornamental plants.The main results are as follows:(1)According to preliminary survey records of Yinping Mountain Nature Reserve of Dongguan,there are 386 species,293 genera and 131 families of wild ornamental plants,including 26 species,19 genera and 24 families of fern plants,4 species,3 genera and 3families of gymnosperms,and 356 species,266 genera and 108 families of angiosperms.(2)After sorting and analyzing the investigation results,the dominant families of ferns surveyed include 4 species and 4 genera of Polypodiaceae,2 species and 2 genera of Blechnaceae Newman,2 species and 1 genus of Aspleniaceae Newman,2 species and 1genus of Adiantaceae,2 species and 2 genera of Lindsaeaceae,etc.;Gymnosperms with the least species,there are only 4 species;Angiosperms dominating families include 16 species and 13 genera of Gramineae,13 species and 9 genera of Euphorbiaceae Juss.,13 species and 9 genera of Rubiaceae Juss.,10 species and 7 genera of Lauraceae Juss.,and 10 species and 10 genera of Papilionaceae;Angiosperms dominating genera include 6 species of Ficus,5 species of Alpinia,4 species of Elaeocarpus Linn.,4 species of Polygonum,4 species of Sterculia Linn.,4 species of Begonia Linn.,and 4 species of Dios pyros L.There are 54 families in single species and 224 genera in single species.(3)The wild ornamental flora of Yinping Mountain Nature Reserve is dominated by tropical and subtropical,with 68 families in the tropical distribution,accounting for 78.16%of the total family,and 198 genera in the tropical distribution,accounting for 77.34% of the total genera.There are 249 species in the tropical distribution,accounting for 68.19% of the total species.Supplemented by temperate distribution,there are 19 families,accounting for21.84% of the total families,including 14 families in the North temperate distribution,accounting for 16.10%.There are 22 genera of temperate distribution,accounting for8.60% of the total genera,including 18 genera of East Asia distribution,accounting for7.03%.There are 111 species in temperate distribution,accounting for 31.81% of the total species.In temperate distribution,East Asia and China’s unique distribution are dominant.In tropical subtropical distribution,it is dominated by pantropic components.Wild ornamental spermatophyte in the reserve are highly tropical-based,while temperate nature also plays an important role.(4)The wild ornamental plants in Yinping Mountain are classified according to life forms.There are 154 species,124 genera and 71 families of wild ornamental herbs,5species,3 genera and 1 family of wild ornamental bamboo,48 species,42 genera and 32 families of wild ornamental vine,193 species,141 genera and 59 families of wild ornamental wood,accounting for 45.04%,48.12%,and 50.00% of the wild ornamental genera and species in Yinping Mountain.There are 91 species,77 genera and 34 families of shrubs,and 102 species,64 genera and 25 families of trees.(5)This research is mainly to investigate the wild ornamental plant resources in Yinping Mountain Nature Reserve,flora analysis,and evaluate resource diversity.After evaluating the diversity of wild ornamental plants in Yinping Mountain Nature Reserve,25 species of plants with high ornamental value are evaluated.There are 3 species of Class I wild ornamental plants.These ornamental plants have the highest ornamental value,such as myrtle,Sapium discolor,and Melastoma.Most of them are shrubs,and the exploitation and utilization are comparatively mature.There are 4 species of Class II wild ornamental plant,and their ornamental value is also quite high,such as Acer sinense,Acerdavidii Franch,Dendrobenthamia hongkongensis and Angiopteris fokiensis Hieron.They are seldom used in gardens so far,and are recommended for utilization.There are 6 species of Class III wild ornamental plants,such as Artabotrys hexapetalus,and Cibotium barometz.In Class IV,they are mainly herbs like Pseudodrynaria coronans,Melastoma dodecandrum and impatiens balsamina.In Class V,there is amentotaxus,magnolia,etc.These provide a theoretical basis for the effective sustainable development and utilization of wild ornamental plant resources and the protection of wild plant resources in Yinping Moutain Nature Reserve.
