In order to explore the potential allelopathic effect of Juglans sigillata and the feasibility of planting Sarcandra glaba under the forest.The effects of different concentrations of aqueous extract from Juglans sigillata leave(0,5,25,50,75,100 mg/mL)on seed germination,seedling growth and physiology of Sarcandra glaba were measured by culture plate filter paper method;and the effects of the extract on the growth,physiology and medicinal components of two-year-old Sarcandra glaba seedlings were measured by pot experiment.The results showed that the aqueous extract from Juglans sigillata leaves had a certain allelopathy on Sarcandra glaba,and the intensity of allelopathy was related to the concentration of the extract.The main results were as follows:1)The aqueous extract from Juglans sigillata leaves can significantly inhibit the germination rate,germination potential and germination index of Sarcandra glaba seeds only when the concentration is up to 100 mg/mL,and the effect on the growth of Sarcandra glaba seedlings is low promotion and high inhibition.The extract of 0~5 mg/mL can significantly promote the seedling height,root growth and SOD activity of seedlings.The extract of 0~50 mg/mL can increase POD activity and SP and SS content,The extracts of 25 and50 mg/mL could significantly improve the activity of POD and the content of SS;The extract of 50~100 mg/mL can significantly inhibit the CAT activity of seedlings and damage the membrane lipid system of cells,resulting in a significant increase in the content of MDA in cells.When the concentration rises to 100 mg/mL,it can significantly inhibit the activities of SOD,CAT,POD,root length and SS content of seedlings.2)The effect of the extract on the annual seedlings of Sarcandra glaba was low promoting and high inhibiting.0~25 mg/mL extract can significantly improve the chlorophyll content and POD and CAT activities in Sarcandra glaba leaves,improve the potential and maximum photochemical efficiency and promote photosynthesis.5 mg/mL extract can improve the net photosynthetic rate,facilitate the accumulation of organic matter and significantly increase the dry weight of Sarcandra glaba;Under the treatment of 50~100 mg/mL extract,the chlorophyll content and SOD and POD activities in leaves gradually decreased,the potential photochemical efficiency and photosynthesis were significantly inhibited,and the cell soluble sugar content and plant dry weight decreased significantly.When the concentration of extract increased to100 mg/mL,the plant dry weight was only 57.63% of the control group.In terms of medicinal components,the water extract of peach leaves had little effect on the total flavonoids and isozinpidine of Caoshanhu plants.There was no significant difference between each treatment and the control group,and the changes of the two indexes fluctuated little;The content of chlorogenic acid was significantly lower than that of the control group under the treatment of 50 and100 mg/mL extract,the content of rosmarinic acid was significantly higher than that of the control group under the treatment of 5 mg/mL and significantly lower than that of the control group under the treatment of 75 mg/mL.From the allelopathy sensitivity index,the medicinal indexes are less affected by the extract,and the quality of medicinal materials is guaranteed to a certain extent.3)The secondary sensitivity index of allelopathy showed that the aqueous extract from Juglans sigillata leaves had a great inhibitory effect on the germination period of Sarcandra glaba,and the effect on seedling period and growth period was low promotion and high inhibition,which showed that0~50 mg/mL extract was conducive to the growth of seedling period and growth period,of which 5 mg/mL extract had the greatest promoting effect.When the concentration was higher than 75 mg/mL,the extract had a allelopathic inhibitory effect on the growth of seedling period and growth period,and increased with the increase of concentration.The third-order sensitivity index of allelopathy showed that the allelopathic effect of the extract on Sarcandra glaba species level was low promotion and high inhibition: 0~25 mg/mL aqueous extract from Juglans sigillata leaves could promote the growth of Sarcandra glaba,among which 5 mg/mL extract had the greatest effect on Sarcandra glaba;The inhibitory effect of 50~100 mg/mL extract on Sarcandra glaba gradually increased with the increase of concentration,and the inhibitory effect on Sarcandra glaba was the strongest at the highest concentration.The order of concentration suitable for the growth and development of Sarcandra glaba is:5 mg/mL > 25 mg/mL > CK > 50 mg/mL > 75 mg/mL > 100 mg/mL.
