| Improving the production efficiency and utilization rate of sows is the most effective way to enhance the competitiveness of large-scale farms.Using Landrace × Yorkshire breeding sows in large-scale pig farm as experimental animals, this study integrated batch production management and precision feeding technology, and discussed the effect of batch production technology, precise regulation technology of pregnant sow backfat thickness, and multiple feeding technology of lactation sows on sow production efficiency. The main experimental results are as follows:1.Batch production can effectively improve the reproductive performance of sows and the production level of pig farms. After the conversion of batch production, the delivery rate of sows increased from 83.4% to 87.3%;the total number born increased by 0.45 per litter, and the number born alive increased by 0.58;the average annual parity of sows increased from 2.23 to 2.35;and the piglets weaned per sow per year(PSY)increased by2.69.The reproductive performance of sows and the production level of farms were greatly improved.2.Precise feeding technology can effectively adjust the consistency of pig body condition. There were significant differences in backfat thickness among the test groups at the time of mating, early and middle gestation(P<0.05),and the significant differences disappeared among the groups at the time of antepartum. The coefficient of variation of backfat thickness decreased from 22.4% at the time of breeding to 15.4% at the time of production. The average backfat thickness of the antepartum test group was 18.5 ± 2.86 mm,indicating that the feeding curve set for sows with different body conditions can effectively improve the uniformity of antepartum backfat of sows. There was no significant difference in reproductive performance among the groups(P>0.05).3.The increase of feeding times could significantly increase the feed intake and feeding performance of lactating sows.Compared with the original three meal feeding mode, the feed intake of lactating sows fed four meals was significantly increased(P<0.01);the average loss of backfat thickness during lactation decreased by 1.56 mm and 25.66%(P<0.01);the breeding rate increased by 3.54% 7 days after weaning;the survival rate of21-day-old piglets reached 92.02%,with an increase of 5.5%;at 21 days of age,the litter weight increased by 7.17 kg(P<0.01),with an increase of 13.83%.The application of batch production technology significantly improved the pig production level. The precise feeding technology reduced the influence of body condition difference on reproductive performance of sows before mating. The adjustment of the feeding times improved the feeding performance and the subsequent reproductive performance of lactating sows. These technologies have effectively improved the production efficiency and competitiveness of pig farms. |
