Cow breeding is an industry with greatest potential in agricultural structure of China. However, due to the large gaps on informationized management and technical assembly compared with developed countries, the automatic production of cow breeding in China is still underdeveloped.With the rapid development of large scale cow breeding in China, the refined breeding for individual cow through information technology is an important approach to achieve outstanding profits.Cows need diversified nutrition during each stage of growth and lactation period, so the feeding strategy should be adjusted correspondingly.It is necessary to regulate the feeding amount of fine feed in the dairy cow breeding. Therefore, it is very important to appropriately control the quantity of refined feeding stuffs according to individual conditions of cows. The health conditions and estrus can be determined according to physiological parameters such as body temperature of cows, so the real-time monitoring for body temperature is significant to scientific breeding management of cows.Guided by such idea, this thesis establishes the digital cow breeding management system and deeply researches some key technologies in such system according to actual demands during digital cow breeding.The author has read many domestic and international documents to deeply know the information of relevant studies and applications, found out some concrete problems of digital cow breeding in China, and set forth relevant theories, concepts and technologies involved in this thesis. Then, the author has designed the digital cow breeding management system and the precise feeding system, which can be used for precise control of refined feeding stuffs and real-time monitoring to body temperature of cows. The thesis has also established the hardware platform of cow breeding environment monitoring system to realize real-time monitoring to information of breeding environment.The identification of individual cow is the foundation and key of the digital cow breeding management system.The author has researched the working principle of RFID system, selected qualified RFID devices, designed the interface circuit of RFID reader, and realized identification to individual cow.The collision during identification is avoided through reasonable distribution and parameters of RFID reader.Based on the Zig Bee wireless sensor network technology, the cow body temperature monitoring sub-system is designed to realize monitoring to data of cow body temperature. The hardware structure adopts CC2430 processor, which can realize monitoring to cow body temperature by the computer of monitoring center through GPRS network data terminal. The Zig Bee wireless sensor network based on cluster topology, and the LEACH routing algorithm is improved according to actual system conditions to reduce energy cost of network nodes and extend network lifetime.Through the research to theories of screw feeder, weighing system and corresponding controlling technology and network communication technology, the author has designed the precise feeding device and feed weighing system, and realized adaptive control over feeding and weighing processes through the combination of fuzzy control and PID control. Through calculating the difference between feeding scale and feeding surplus, the data of feed intake can be obtained truly and precisely.The author has designed the software of monitoring center and established the system database through Visual Basic. Net and SQL server 2005, realized the functions of network communication and data processing based on ADO. Net technology and Win Socket technology, and developed the inference program to realize feeding scale determination function. The author has also developed the precise feeding system tested by quantitative feeding.The result indicates that the system design is reasonable and feasible.
