Study On Screening Of Superior Germplasm Of Carum Carvi L. For Vegetable Using

In this experiment,the leaves of 42 germplasm of Carum carvi were used as experimental materials to measure the contents of vitamin C,total sugar,amino acids and other nutrients,active components and mineral elements,observed the seed quality and germination characteristics,investigated and analyzed the differences in agronomic traits.Preliminarily studied the distribution of nutrients and mineral elements in leaves of different germplasm of Carum carvi,which provided reference of screening superior germplasm resources for vegetable using.The main results are as follows:1.Seed quality and germination:The 1000-seed weight,seed viability,water content,seed length and seed width of 42 Carum carvi germplasm seeds respectively ranged from 1.433-2.789g,78-100%,8.99-10.74%,3.13-4.09cm and 1.03-1.23cm.There was little difference in seed quality and morphology,but there showed significant difference in seed germination.The germination rate ranged from 23.33%-90%after GA treatment,.2.Agronomic traits:The emergence and plant growth of different germplasms showed great differences.The seed of most germplasms germinated in 44-48 days,but a few germplasms reached 60-90 days,the emergence was irregular.Most germplasms grow fast in June and July,then gradually slow down.The average leaf number,leaf width,leaf length,leaf area and plant weight was 12,7.13cm,19.43cm,26.21cm~2 and 10.72g respectively.3.Nutrition:The content of vitamin C,amino acid and total sugar in leaves of 42 germplasm of Carum carvi ranged from 15.41-77.04mg/100g,35.04-476mg/100g and3.08-25.66g/100g.The soluble protein content ranged from 6.41-8.14g/100g,the cellulose content ranged from 33.5-73.12mg/100g,and the water content ranged from 73.20-82.44%.4.Mineral components and active components.The content of potassium、calcium、magnesium、iron、manganese、zinc、copper in the leaves ranged from 1232-6496mg/kg,452.4-1762.6mg/kg,167.20-835.60mg/kg,30.82-194.28mg/kg,4.42-22.50m g/kg,2.39-6.93 mg/kg,0.92-1.87 mg/kg,The content trend of the seven mineral ele ments was potassium>calcium>magnesium>iron>manganese>zinc>copper.The contents of total phenols and flavonoidsin leaves ranged from 21.3-37.2mg/g and 25.2-55.0m g/g.5.Based on the evaluation of nutrient quality,seed germination characteristics and ground part yield of Carum carvi,we screeded 9(Dahua town huangyuan county),34(Chengwen town Chengduo county),37(Chengduo town Xiazhuang country)as the superior germplasm for vegetable using.the seed germination rate of these germplasm was higher,the field grew more prosperous,the ground part yield were high,Compared with common vegetables in daily vetetable,The nutrients content of Carum carvi were higher,It indicated that the vegetable-using quality of Carum carvi was fine.
