Coconut bran is widely used in vegetable cultivation.Compared with peat,it has better water retention,fertilizer retention,air permeability,convenient transportation and low cost.In order to screen out suitable matrix ratio for cucumber seedling growth in Xinjiang Hotan area,reduce cost and increase yield,this experiment took cucumber variety ’Zhongshu128’as the material,supplemented by coconut bran,sand and organic fertilizer composition of different matrix ratio test,sampled at different stages of cucumber growth.Determination of cucumber seedling index(plant height,stem diameter,maximum leaf length,leaf width,dry weight,fresh weight,root length,root volume)and the quality index(soluble sugar content,soluble protein content)and the cucumber yield of different ratio of substrate,and different fertilizer rate is added in the different ratio of substrate,study its effects on cucumber seedling growth and physiological indicators.The main results are as follows:(1)The comprehensive membership function value of cucumber seedlings cultivated by H4 treatment with coconut bran∶ sand∶organic fertilizer = 18V∶3V∶2V was 0.541,which was better than that of CK(coconut bran∶sand∶The results showed that the ratio of coconut bran∶sand∶organic fertilizer = 18V∶3V∶2V was suitable for cucumber seedling cultivation in Xinjiang Hotan area.(2)The photosynthetic ratio of coconut bran∶sand∶organic fertilizer = 14V∶3V∶2V and H4 to coconut bran∶sand∶organic fertilizer = 18V∶3V∶2V was 13.35 μmol/(m2·s)and13.61 μmol/(m2·s),which was higher than that of CK.The yield of H2 treatment and H4 treatment was 49.2808 kg/667m2 and 53.5068 kg/667m2 respectively,and the yield of H2 treatment was higher than CK in the early stage.Compared with CK,the yield of plots treated with CK and H4 increased by 46%.The total yields of H2 and H4 treatments were2934.85 kg/667m2 and 3186.52 kg/667m2 respectively.The total yields of H2 and H4 treatments were 21% and 31% higher than CK.In conclusion,H2 treatment is more suitable for cucumber cultivation than H4 treatment compared with CK,while H4 treatment is suitable for high-yield cucumber cultivation.(3)In the fertilizer experiment,coconut bran∶sand∶organic fertilizer = 18V∶3V∶2V matrix ratio of adding different fertilizer dosage,through analysis and comparison.The plant height,fresh weight of aboveground and underground parts,dry weight of aboveground and underground parts,root-shoot ratio,seedling index,G value and chlorophyll A of cucumber under T4 treatment(nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium applied at 100 g/m3,100 g/m3 and 100 g/m3 respectively)were better than other treatments.Arrive at a conclusion,The seedling growth effect of T4 treatment with different fertilizer dosage(100 g/m3,100 g/m3 and 100 g/m3,respectively)was slightly better than that of H4 treatment with different substrate ratio(coconut bran∶sand∶organic fertilizer=18V∶3V∶2V).Therefore,in order to reduce costs and increase benefits,it is suggested to adopt coconut bran∶sand∶organic fertilizer =18V∶3V∶2V as the substrate ratio for cucumber seedling cultivation in Xinjiang Hotan area.
