Pepper is one of the main vegetable varieties of late autumn greenhouse cultivation in Fujian area. To select the pepper varieties with high yield, high quality and good resistance to disease which are suitable for late autumn greenhouse cultivation with coconut coir substrate in Fujian,49 pepper resources provided by 16 companies were collected and planted experimentally in soilless culture mode with coconut coir mixed substrate in Huating Base of Linong Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. in Chengxiang District of Putian City, Fujian Province in this test. Based on the observation, statistics and analysis on the agronomic characters of the pepper, the evaluation on pepper yield, fruit quality and economic benefits, and the comparison with the main existing cultivars of pepper cultured in Fujian, the pepper cultivars with high yield, high quality and good resistance to disease which are suitable for soilless cultivation with coconut coir substrate in greenhouse in Fujian are selected.1.According to the experimental results, the best pepper cultivar of soilless cultivation with coconut coir substrate in greenhouse in Fujian area is "Aolong" which has higher Vc content, dry matter content, protein content, soluble sugar content and capsaicinoids matter content than the control cultivator, and the Vc content is the highest among all cultivars and the total content of capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin is 1.56 mg/g. The plants grow well with no obvious disease susceptibility condition which shows good resistance to disease. "Aolong" ranks number 8 on leaf area size which matches the filter conditions, and the benefit of "Aolong" is 4701.59 yuan per mu which is the highest among all test pepper cultivars.2.According to the experimental results, the second pepper cultivars only to "Aolong" which are suitable for soilless cultivation with coconut coir substrate in greenhouse in Fujian area are "HZ-001", "Xiangxiu 12-72" and "SHCB-069". The Vc content, dry matter content, protein content and soluble sugar content are basically the same as the control cultivator, while the capsaicinoids are lower which is fit for the eating habits of most people in Fujian. The plants of the three cultivators grow well with no obvious disease susceptibility condition which shows good resistance to disease, and the leaf area sizes of the three cultivators are all in the medium level which are suitable for close planting and matches the filter conditions. The benefits of "HZ-001", "Xiangxiul2-72" and "SHCB-069" are 4035.87 yuan,4005.69 yuan and 4299.69 yuan per mu respectively, which are higher than the control cultivator and next only to "Aolong"3. According to the experimental results, the best bell pepper cultivators of soilless cultivation with coconut coir substrate in greenhouse in Fujian area are "Aodesai" and "Jinhuaxing" which have higher Vc content, dry matter content, protein content, soluble sugar content and free amino acid content than the control cultivator, and the Vc content of "Aodesai" is the highest among all the bell peppers and "Jinhuaxing" has the highest soluble sugar content, meanwhile the other nutritional quality of the two cultivators are all in the front positions of all bell pepper cultivators in this test. The plants of the two cultivators grow well with no obvious disease susceptibility condition which shows good resistance to disease. "Aosaide" ranks number 5 on leaf area size which matches the filter conditions. The benefits of "Aosaide" and "Jinhuaxing" are 7265.82 yuan and 7255.13 yuan per mu respectively, which rank number I and number 2 among all bell peppers.
