In this paper, the feeding effects of different methyl attractants on M.rosenbergii(Macrobrachium rosenbergii),an important economic shrimp species in China, were studied by biological research methods such as feeding experiment, behavior observation and enzyme activity detection.Firstly, the expression spectrum of M.rosenbergii feeding behavior was established by observing the whole feeding process. Then,by detecting the effects of three different attractants on feeding behavior and digestive enzyme activities of M.rosenbergii, the effective attractant and its effective concentration were screened out.The experimental results provide a theoretical basis for the development of special feed for M.rosenbergii.The main results are as follows:1.Feeding behavior spectrum of M.rosenbergiiIn this chapter, larvae of M.rosenbergii were cultured through recirculating aquaculture system. When M.rosenbergii grew to a certain extent, healthy and active M.rosenbergii with neat limbs and the same body size were randomly selected to observe feeding behavior. The whole feeding process of M.rosenbergii was filmed and recorded. The feeding actions of M.rosenbergii were observed in the form of video playback, and the number of feeding actions was recorded. The behaviors of M.rosenbergii were systematically classified, and the behaviors of M.rosenbergii were defined next.A total of six feeding behaviors of M.rosenbergii were defined, including step exploration, tentacle probing, step swimming, caudal wobble, step feeding and appendage feeding, and the behavioral action diagram was drawn. These studies laid a foundation for exploring the effects of methyl attractor on feeding behavior of M.rosenbergii.2.Effects of methyl attractor on feeding behavior of M.rosenbergiiIn this study,ANY maze software was used to analyze the behavior of M.rosenbergii exposed to three different concentrations of attractor(betaine, choline chloride and DMPT)and control(pure water)to explore the effects of methyl attractor on feeding behavior of M.rosenbergii.The results showed that the betaine concentration of M.rosenbergii at 1% and1.5% was significantly different from that of control(P<0.05).When the concentration of choline chloride was 0.5% and 1%,the difference was significant(P<0.05).The DMPT concentration of M.rosenbergii at 1% was significantly different from that of control(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between 0.2% and 0.5% betaine,0.1% and1.5% choline chloride and 0.1%,0.5% and 1.5% DMPT compared with control(P>0.05).Therefore,1% and 1.5% betaine,0.5% and 1% choline chloride and 1% DMPT can be considered as the best concentration to induce feeding effect on M.rosenbergii.3.Effects of methyl attractor on digestive enzyme activities of M.rosenbergiiIn this chapter, the effects of methyl attractor on the digestive enzyme activities of M.rosenbergii were investigated by detecting and analyzing the activities of lipase, amylase and pepsin in the stomach, intestine and hepatopanas of M.rosenbergii in different food attractor aqueous solutions. The results showed that the three attractant had positive effects on the digestive enzyme activities of M.rosenbergii, and the activities increased with the increase of betaine concentration, and then decreased with the increase of choline chloride concentration.High concentration of DMPT had a lethal effect on M.rosenbergii.Among them,1% and 1.5% betaine,0.5% choline chloride and 0.1% DMPT could significantly increase the activity of LPS(lipase)in intestine(P<0.05),1% and 1.5% betaine and 0.5%choline chloride could significantly increase the activity of AMS(amylase)in hepatopancreas(P<0.05).1% and 1.5% betaine,0.1%,0.5% and 1.5% choline chloride and0.1% DMPT could significantly increase the PPS(pepsin)activity in gastric tissue(P<0.05).Taken together, these three attractant for roche expounds all have food calling function, and in these three attractant, betaine for roche spermatogenesis induced to eat the best effect,is expected to develop betaine as a special feed attractor for M.rosenbergii.
