For studying the effects of the age of suppleme-ntary feeding on digestive enzyme, morphous of intestinal villi, the weight of main digestive organs, and growth performance of piglets,in this experiment,12 broods piglets among of which the differences of the time of parturition were within 48h and that were borned by the pig having near parity were choosed. The piglets were divided into 4 treatments which were supplied feeding at 7,10,15,21 days old, each treatment contained 3 replications and each replication contained 1 brood piglets. The finding showed:1.The enzymatic activity of rennin in stomach of each group stepped up at first, then stepped down, and it was highest at 15 days old. The enzymatic activity of pepsin and tr- ypsin of each group assumed gradually ascendant tendency. The enzymatic activity of lipase of the group supplied feeding at 7 and 10 days old assumed ascendant tendency, but the group supplied f- eeding at 15 and 21 days old stepped down. The enzymatic activity of amylase of the group suppli- ed feeding at 7 days old stepped down at first, then stepped up,and other 3 groups assumed constantly ascendant tendency. The differences of the enzymatic activity of rennin in stomach among of all groups were not significant(P>0.05).The enzymatic activity of pepsin, trypsin and lipase of the group supplied feeding at 10 days old were significantly higher than that of other groups(P<0.05). The differences of the enzymatic activity of amylase between the group supplied feeding at 7 days old and the group supplied feeding at 10 days old was not significant(P>0.05),but the enzymatic activity of amylase of the group supplied feeding at 10 days old was highest.2. The villus height, the crypt depth and the intestine wall thickness of the piglets in all groups increased along with the day added in general. The villus height of the group supplied feeding at 10 days old was highest, and the group supplied feeding at 7 days old was lowest. The crypt depth of the group supplied feeding at 10 days old was shallowest but the group supplied feeding at 21 days old was deepest. The intestine wall thickness of the group supplied feeding at 21 days old was thicknest but the group supplied feeding at 7 days old was thinest.3 .Compared each part of small intestine, the villus height was highest at the part of duodenum and the part of jejunum anterior segment next. The crypt depth was deepest at the part of jejunum anterior segment and jejunum posterior segment next. The intestine wall thickness was thicknest at the part of ileum and jejunum posterior segment next.4. When the piglet in lactation, the body weight,ADG and F/G of the groups supplied feeding at 10 and 15 days old were significantly higher than that of the groups supplied feeding at 7 and 21 days old, The differences of the body weight,ADG and F/G between the group supplied feeding at 7 days old and the group supplied feeding at 10 days old was not significant(P>0.05).Supplementary feeding was good for growth and development of the stomach and liver of piglets, but had no effect on the development of pancreas of piglets in lactation.
