As a precious agricultural resource,the quality of arable land has a direct impact on the state of food and agricultural production.Only by conducting a comprehensive survey,monitoring and evaluation of the quality of arable land can agricultural production be further consolidated.At present,with population growth and food security issues becoming increasingly prominent,the quality of arable land varies significantly from region to region,making it necessary to carry out a systematic analysis of it.On this basis,dynamic monitoring of arable land quality in several regions can lay the foundation for improving the ecological quality of arable land,achieving sustainable development and ensuring national food security.At the same time,the analysis of the data can provide an important basis for the country’s decisionmaking in agricultural production,which is of great significance in ensuring food security in China.Arable land is an important land resource that supports social and economic development.With the accelerated urbanisation in China,the quality of arable land is under serious threat,and the study of arable land quality evaluation helps to modernise agricultural science and is of great significance in achieving a simultaneous improvement in the quantity and quality of arable land.Jiangxi Province is an important grain-producing province in China,so the study of its grain production and arable land quality is particularly important[1].This paper takes Yongfeng County,Jiangxi Province,as the study area and covers four landform types,including plains,hills,terraces and small undulating hills,according to the comprehensive characteristics of the landform types in Yongfeng County.Based on modern geomorphology,landscape ecology,GIS information technology and statistics and other mathematical and statistical methods,a systematic research framework is constructed based on the evaluation of arable land quality,digital terrain analysis,arable land landscape pattern and spatial statistical analysis to explore the correlation between arable land quality and arable land landscape pattern on the basis of landform types,so as to provide valuable references for relevant research on arable land quality.The main findings of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the idea of terrain morphology factor extraction to divide the terrain factor into macromorphic factor and microscopic factor,the best statistical window of Yongfeng County is calculated by the mean variable point method,and the result is 14×14image element size,and the calculated best statistical unit of terrain undulation after iterative processing results in R2=0.9672,and the fitting effect is more reasonable.It reflects the characteristics of the diverse types of landforms in Yongfeng County,which are divided into plains,terraces,hills and small undulating hills,with the largest area of hills.Through the statistics of various types of landforms in townships,it can be seen that Zorong Township occupies the largest area of low-altitude plain area,accounting for 32.85%.Guxian Township occupies the largest area of low altitude hills,accounting for 12.65%.Alongpi Township occupies the largest area of low altitude terraces,accounting for 16.54%.Shima Town has the largest area of small undulating low hills,accounting for 18.53%.(2)The landscape pattern of cultivated land in Yongfeng County was studied,and six commonly used landscape indices were selected from the patch type level and landscape level to analyse the landscape pattern of cultivated land from different scales.The maximum patch index showed that the high value areas were distributed near Guanshan Forest,the landscape diversity index of cultivated land in the northern and southern regions of Yongfeng County was higher,and the index of aggregation in the northern region of the county was larger.The six landscape pattern indices of cultivated land show that low elevation plain area(0.36)> low elevation hilly area(0.33)> low elevation terrace(0.23)> small undulating mountain(0.15).(3)The evaluation and classification study of the quality of arable land in Yongfeng County shows that in the calculation of the comprehensive index of arable land quality,the largest area of fourth-class land is accounted for,followed by fifth-class land,sixth-class land and fourth-class land,and the data results show that medium-class land has the largest area and low-class land has the smallest area.Excellent land is mainly distributed in the low altitude plain area,and the overall index of arable land quality in the plain area is high,distributed in Zorong Town,Guxian Town and Hangtian Town.The medium-quality land is distributed in the low-elevation hilly areas,Tancheng Township and Yanpi Township.The low land is mostly distributed in the tablelands and small undulating hills,etc.,involving Shangxi Township,Shima Township and Qidu Township.According to the classification of the quality of arable land in Yongfeng County in 2020,in terms of soil conditions,the thickness of the soil layer in Yongfeng County is between 60-100cm;the county is dominated by loamy soil;soil organic matter is dominated by secondary 20-40g/kg;90.7% of the soil p H in Yongfeng County is 3a strongly acidic soil.(4)In the correlation analysis of the values of landscape pattern index and integrated index of cropland quality in Yongfeng County under different landscape types,the relationship between AI and LPI index and integrated index was highly significant and positive in the low elevation plain area,the relationship between DIVISION,PD,SHDI and SHEI index and integrated index was highly significant and positive in the low elevation hilly area,and the relationship between AI and integrated index in the low elevation table area The relationship between AI and composite index was weakly positive.The relationship between DIVISION,PD,SHDI and SHEI and the composite index is highly significant and positive in small undulating mountainous areas.In the analysis of the diversity of cropland quality classification and cropland landscape pattern under different landform types in Yongfeng County,the diversity of cropland quality classification in the low-altitude plain area was significantly positively correlated with AI,LPI and SHDI values.In the low elevation hilly areas,the cropland quality classification diversity index showed a negative correlation with AI and a strong correlation with DIVISION,LPI,PD,SHDI and SHEI indices.In the low altitude tableland and small undulating mountainous areas,the cropland landscape pattern index was not significantly related to the cropland quality classification diversity index.
