Measurement And Spatiotemporal Evolution Analysis Of High-quality Development Level Of Apple Production In Major Apple Producing Provinces In China

In recent years,with the increase of apple yield per unit area,the total apple yield in China has also been increasing.However,there are still many urgent problems that need to be solved in the apple production process in China,such as relatively single varieties,rapid cost growth,relative overproduction,low standardization,and insufficient sustainable production capacity of orchards.At present,domestic research on apple production mostly adopts a single dimensional indicator,lacking a comprehensive evaluation of high-quality apple production.Therefore,it is urgent to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the development level of apple production,construct a comprehensive evaluation system for high-quality development of apple production,and propose targeted suggestions based on the evaluation results of highquality development of apple production.Based on the new development concept and existing research on high-quality development,this article constructs a theoretical framework for evaluating the high-quality development of apple production and a comprehensive evaluation system for high-quality development of apple production.Taking the main apple producing provinces as an example,it measures the level of high-quality development of apple production in China and further reveals the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of the level of high-quality development of apple production.Firstly,this civilization defines the meaning of high-quality development in apple production,and proposes an evaluation approach for high-quality development of apple production that includes five dimensions: "ensuring production,efficiency,reduction,income increase,and stability" based on the new development concept;On this basis,various dimensional evaluation indicators for the high-quality development level of apple production are determined,and a comprehensive evaluation system for the high-quality development level of apple production is constructed.The subjective weighting method and objective weighting method are combined to reflect the high-quality development status of apple production from multiple dimensions.Secondly,based on the established evaluation system for the high-quality development level of apple production in various major apple producing provinces in China,an empirical analysis was conducted on the high-quality development status of apple production in China.The AHP entropy method and obstacle factor diagnostic model were used to measure the highquality development level and obstacle factors of apple production in major apple producing provinces in China from 2005 to 2020.The study found that the overall high-quality development level of apple production in China’s major apple producing provinces showed an increasing trend from 2005 to 2020.During the inspection period,the high-quality development level of apple production in the eastern region was the highest,with the western region in the middle,and the average in the central region was significantly lower than that in the eastern and western regions;During the inspection period,the dimension of green production has always been the main constraint for improving the high-quality development level of apple production.The level of mechanization,fertilizer consumption,and production profit are the main limiting factors for improving the high-quality development level of apple production at the end of the inspection period.Thirdly,this paper uses spatial analysis and Markov chain to analyze the development level of high-quality apple production and the spatio-temporal evolution trend of each dimension.Research has found that the optimization dimension of apple production output and the income driven dimension have significantly increased,effectively driving the improvement of the high-quality development level of apple production;At the end of the inspection period,the phenomenon of polarization in the high-quality development level of apple production was highlighted,and the probability of low and high level types remaining unchanged increased.There were bottlenecks in the transfer from medium to high levels.Finally,based on the evaluation results of high-quality development of apple production in China’s major apple producing provinces,diagnostic results of obstacle factors,and spatiotemporal evolution characteristics,this article conducts a study on the path to improve the high-quality development of apple production,and proposes management suggestions to enhance the level of high-quality development of apple production.This article interprets the connotation of high-quality development of apple production from the perspective of new development concepts,comprehensively analyzes the level,obstacle factors,and spatiotemporal evolution trends of high-quality development of apple production in China’s main apple production areas.It has reference and reference significance for the research on high-quality development of the apple industry and even the forest and fruit industry,and provides decision-making basis for scientifically formulating high-quality development policies for apple production.
