| At present,the Country is vigorously promoting vocational education and vocational schools are speeding up teaching reform.The transformation of teaching mode is the key of the reform.As a model to cultivate students’ creative spirit and practical ability,Inquiry-based Teaching has been widely used by educators gradually.This study takes the professional practical course of Plant Protection Technology in a secondary vocational school in Jining City as the object,applies the inquisitive teaching model,tests the applicability and effect of the inquisitive teaching model and summarizes the experience.The main research methods are classroom observation,questionnaire survey and interview.Firstly,the research status of inquiry teaching and practical teaching of secondary vocational majors is summarized,and the theories of "learning by doing",constructivism and humanism are taken as guidance.Secondly,from the "plant protection technology" professional training course teaching orientation,content and objectives;Current situation of professional practical teaching;Application of inquiry teaching;This paper makes a preliminary investigation on the ability level of the teaching practice objects,summarizes the weak links in the current professional practical training,and the strategies and advantages of the application of inquiry teaching mode.Thirdly,combined with the principle of inquiry teaching application,the paper designs from four aspects: inquiry teaching process framework,curriculum resource construction,teaching links and teaching evaluation.Finally,taking Class 1 of garden major of grade 2020 as the teaching object,the inquiry teaching practice is carried out.Through the comparative analysis of the results of applied chapters and final examination,the applicability and effect of inquiry-based teaching are tested by a questionnaire survey,the teaching reflection is carried out and the application suggestions are put forward.In this study,"Plant Disease and Pest Diagnosis" in Item 3 "Plant Disease and Pest Investigation and Comprehensive Control Technology" in Plant Protection Technology(3rd edition)edited by Feng Yanmei,published by Higher Education Press,is selected as the teaching case.First,the teaching content and learning situation are analyzed and corresponding teaching resources are developed.Secondly,the teaching of the inquiry content and practical training tasks is completed according to the five steps of "creating situation-enlightening thinking-practical exploration-achievement exchange-summary and reflection".Finally,the comprehensive evaluation of students is completed based on their classroom performance and assessment results.Through teaching practice,inquiry teaching has achieved satisfactory results in enriching course resources,enhancing students’ enthusiasm,and cultivating students’ ability of inquiry and professional technology.The practice results show that the inquiry-based teaching is suitable for the practical teaching of Plant Protection Technology in secondary vocational schools and can improve the weak links in teaching.The optimal application of the inquiry-based teaching can be carried out from three aspects: improving the inquiry-based teaching quality,optimizing the inquiry-based teaching design and paying attention to the inquiry-based teaching process. |
