Investigation And Research On The Production And Operation Status And Risk Characteristics Of Grassland Pastoral Household

The grassland herdsmen live in the vast grassland areas.The natural conditions of the grassland,such as climate,soil and vegetation,determine the unique mode of production and management model of the grassland herdsmen.Based on the field survey data of 594 grassland herdsmen in Inner Mongolia,this thesis analyzes the production and management status and risk characteristics of grassland herdsmen,the influencing factors of herdsmen purchasing weather index insurance were identified by using binary logistic model.First,natural risk and market risk seriously affect the production and management of herdsmen,which hinders their development.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the prevention of these two risks.2.In the production and management of herdsmen,there are the following deficiencies in risk prevention: herdsmen engaged in grassland animal husbandry production are older,less educated and have poor risk awareness;herdsmen have a single breeding type;It is not conducive to risk prevention and scientific management;most herders derive their income entirely from the production and management of grassland animal husbandry,with a single source of income;as a result of grassland degradation and the impact of natural disasters,pastoralism can not meet the needs of herders,the purchase of fodder increases the cost of production for herdsmen;due to the lack of funds,some herdsmen maintain production operations through loans,and the fluctuation of cost prices and sales prices leads to the instability of Herdsmen’s income,some herdsmen will fall into the vicious circle of supporting loans because they can not pay back the loans.Based on the micro-survey data,this study analyzed the specific situation of production and management of grassland herdsmen and the risks in production and management.It is not only to carry out the party’s policy of“Thriving investigation and research”,but also to accurately identify the main operating characteristics of grassland animal husbandry has important guiding significance.
