Experiential teaching is to create a teaching situation related to the teaching content before the implementation of teaching,so that students can learn and understand new knowledge in the experience,and can flexibly apply new skills.Throughout the current situation of the teaching research of landscape technology specialty in secondary vocational schools in China,the relevant research is not enough,and the applied research on experiential teaching is more and more,but most of them stay at the theoretical level.In teaching practice,teachers’ ability of experiential instructional design needs to be improved.In teaching practice,teachers’ ability of experiential instructional design needs to be improved.The course "Flower Production and Management" is a required professional core course for secondary vocational garden technology major.The theory and skills required by this course are also the standard requirements for professional and technical posts of flower and horticulturist.It is crucial to improve the comprehensive quality of flower and horticulturist,and it is imperative to apply experiential teaching to secondary vocational classroom.From this study should experience type teaching,situational,affective,the basic characteristics such as interactivity and reflective,through literature research,field observation and questionnaire survey,to open the flowers production and management of secondary vocational students as the research object,has carried out based on the experience type teaching mode of secondary vocational curriculum teaching design research.On the basis of the relevant theories of experiential teaching and the investigation of the current situation of secondary vocational schools,the necessity and feasibility of the application of experiential teaching model are analyzed.Experiential teaching design and teaching implementation are carried out,and the effect of implementation is investigated and analyzed.According to the evaluation of teaching implementation effect,the problems in the implementation process and corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward.The main conclusions of the study are as follows :(1)it is necessary and feasible to apply experiential teaching mode in the course of flower production and management in secondary vocational schools;(2)Experimental teaching has obvious influence on the improvement of teaching effect and learning quality of flower Production and Management;(3)There are some problems in the application of experiential teaching in the course of Flower production and Management,such as poor classroom controllability,limited teaching conditions,insufficient student participation and difficulty in grasping the role of teachers;In view of the problems of teaching implementation,according to the basic characteristics of experiential teaching and the characteristics of secondary vocational students,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the management of classroom teaching organization,the school to provide corresponding teaching guarantee,teachers to pay attention to the subject status of students and control the positioning of teachers in the classroom.
