| In the modern husbandry industry,mycotoxin metal ions in the diet and high temperature and high density breeding environment may cause stress,which may affect the performance and breeding efficiency of breeding chickens.Studies have shown that probiotics and attapulgite can degrade mycotoxins,relieve stress and improve immunity,thus improving production performance.The purpose of this study is to investigate whether Lactobacillus delbrueckii and attapulgite individually can improve antioxidant capacity and intestinal microflora structure of broiler breeders,and the synergistic effect of lactobacillus descheri and attapulgite was investigated to improve the performance of broiler breeders.It provides theoretical basis for the application of Lactobacillus delbrueckii and attapulgite in livestock and poultry production.A total of 288 healthy forty-four-week-old Arbor Acres(AA)female broiler breeders were randomly divided into 4 treatment groups with 6 replicates per group and 12 broilers per replicate.The experiment lasted for 8 weeks.The control group was fed with basic diet,and the experimental groups were fed with experimental diet supplemented with 0.1% Lactobacillus delbrueckii(LD),0.5% attapulgite(APT),and0.1% LD+0.5% APT,respectively.Data of production performanceegg,egg quality and hatching performance were recorded during the experiment.At the end of the experiment,slaughtering and sampling were carried out to measure broiler breeders’ serum and intestinal antioxidative capacity,ovary condition,and intestinal microbial construction.The test results are as follows:1)No significant differences were noticed on egg production rate,feed egg ratio,daily egg weight,average egg weight and unqualified egg rate among groups(P >0.05).2)Compared with the control group,egg weights in LD,APT and LD+APT groups were significantly decreased(P < 0.01),and eggshell strength(P < 0.05)were significantly decreased in LD group compared with control group.3)Compared with the control group,the fertilization rate of broilers in LD group was extremely significantly increased(P < 0.01),and the hatching rate of broilers in LD group had a trend of increasing(P = 0.068).The APT and LD+APT had no significant effect on incubation performance(P > 0.05).4)Compared with the control group,LD group had no significant effect on serum antioxidant indexes(P > 0.05),APT extremely significantly decreased the activities of GSH-Px and T-SOD(P < 0.01),and increased the activities of MDA(P < 0.01),LD+APT extremely significantly increased the activities of T-SOD and T-AOC(P <0.01).5)Compared with the control group,CAT activity was extremely significantly increased(P < 0.01),and GSH-Px activity tended to be increased in LD group;the activities of GSH-Px and T-SOD were extremely significantly decreased(P < 0.01),and the content of MDA were extremely significantly increased(P < 0.01)in APT group;the activities of CAT,GSH-Px and T-SOD in LD+APT group were significantly increased(P < 0.01).CAT activity in LD+APT group was extremely significantly higher than that in LD group(P < 0.01).6)Compared with the control group,LD decreased the lvillus height to crypt depth ratio in ileum,but APT increased.LD+APT extremely significantly increased the lvillus height to crypt depth ratio in ileum(P < 0.01),and increased ileum villus height(P =0.073)and decreased crypt depth(P = 0.080).7)Compared with control group,LD had no significant effects on ovarian antioxidant indexes(P > 0.05);GSH-Px activity was extremely significantly decreased(P < 0.01),and MDA activity was extremely significantly increased in APT group(P < 0.01);LD+APT significantly increased T-AOC activity(P < 0.01)and CAT activity(P < 0.05).Compared with APT group,T-SOD activity in LD+APT group was significantly increased(P < 0.05).8)Compared with control group,The contents of progesterone(Prog)and anti-Muller hormone(AMH)in APT were significantly decreased(P < 0.01);LD and LD+APT significantly increased follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)content(P <0.05)and increase the content of estradiol(E2),LD+APT had better effect on improving FSH content than LD.9)Compared with the control group,Chao1 index(P = 0.002)and ACE index(P= 0.005)in LD group and LD+APT group were significantly increased.Compared with the control group,APT,LD,and APT + LD reduced the abundance of Bacteroidetes and increased the abundance of Firmicutes.The dominant bacterial groups in APT + LD group were Bacteroides,Rikenelaceae,Ruminococcus,Lactobacillus,Lachnospiraceae and Faecalis.LH was negatively correlated with abundance of Ruminococcus(P < 0.05);AMH was positively correlated with abundance of Ruminococcus(P < 0.01);Prog was positively correlated with abundance of Lachnospiraceae(P < 0.05);and E2 was positively correlated with abundance of Clostridium(P < 0.05).In conclusion,dietary supplementation of Lactobacillus delbrueckii alone could improve the reproductive performance of broiler breeders,ileum antioxidant capacity and intestinal microflora diversity;Attapulgite alone could improve the intestinal morphology of broiler breeders,but reduce the antioxidant capacity and serum reproductive hormone levels.The combination of Lactobacillus delbrueckii and attapulgite could not only improve the morphology and diversity of intestinal flora,but also further improve the antioxidant capacity of the body and ovary,and promote the secretion of reproductive hormones. |
