In this paper,the chemical contituents of Euphorbia fischeriana,a traditional Chinese medicinal plant belonging to family Euphorbiaceae,was extracted.33 compounds were isolated by modern chromatographic separation techniques(silica gel column,ODS column,Sephadex LH-20 column,MPLC,HPLC,etc.).The stuctures of all the compounds were elucidated based on various spectroscopic technique analysis(1H-NMR,13C-NMR,HSQC,1H-1H COSY,HMBC,NOESY,MS,IR,UV,ORD,CD,X-Ray,etc.),including 5 new diterpenoids,3 new natural products and 25 known compounds.Some compounds were tested for biological activities,including antitumor activity,antimicrobial activity,α-glucosidase activity.All five new compounds were evaluated in vitro for cytotoxicity against three human cancer cell lines,He La,H460 and Namalwa,using CCK-8 assay with doxorubicin as positive control.1 and 2 showed potent cytotoxic activities against three human tumor cell lines,He La(with IC50 values of 4.6 and 9.5 μM,respectively),H460(11.5 and 17.4 μM,respectively),and Namalwa(16.4 and 13.3 μM,respectively).Compound 10 had medium inhibitory effects on the three tumor cell lines Hela,Namalwa and H460 with IC50 values of 31.39,17.50 and 16.45 μM,respectively.Compound 22 had certain inhibitory effects on Fusarium solani.Compounds 13,20 had a weak inhibitory effect onα-glucosidase,with IC50 values of 30.39 and 20.60 μM,respectively.
