| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of treating semen nonliquefaction from phlegm-heat and explore its mechanism of action,so as to provide ideas for the clinical treatment and scientific research of this disease.Methods: A total of 66 patients with non-liquefaction semen diagnosed with phlegm-heat syndrome in the andrology department of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into two groups,with 33 cases in each group.The observation group was given semen coagulation liquefaction soup(200ml/ time,twice/day),and the control group was given Vitamin E Soft capsules(100mg/ time,two times/day),4 weeks as a course of treatment,two courses of treatment.Before the study and after 2 courses of treatment,the patients underwent routine semen examination,and recorded liquefaction time,semen p H value,sperm motility rate,sperm density,TCM syndrome score,etc.,and timely recorded the occurrence of adverse reactions.All data were analyzed by SPSS 26.0 statistical software.Results: Data of 62 patients were collected in observation group(31cases)and control group(31 cases).1.Before treatment,there were no significant differences in age,course of disease,semen indexes and TCM syndrome scores between the two groups(P > 0.05),indicating comparability.2.After treatment,in the observation group,11 cases were obviously effective,14 cases were effective,6 cases were ineffective,and the effective rate was 80.65%;In the control group,6 cases were effective,7 cases were effective,18 cases were ineffective,and the effective rate was 41.94%.3.After treatment,the semen volume of patients in the observation group was significantly increased compared with that before treatment,P=0.011 < 0.05;the semen volume of patients in the control group was not significantly increased compared with that before treatment,P=0.357 > 0.05;the semen volume of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,P=0.046 < 0.05.4.After treatment,the total sperm motility of patients in the observation group was significantly increased compared with before treatment,P=0.000 < 0.05,the total sperm motility of patients in the control group was also significantly increased compared with before treatment,p=0.017 < 0.05,the improvement of total sperm motility of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group,P=0.001 < 0.05.5.After treatment,sperm concentration in the observation group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P=0.027 < 0.05),while that in the control group was not significantly higher(P=0.486 > 0.05).Sperm concentration in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P=0.048 < 0.05).6.After treatment,the semen p H value of the observation group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment,P=0.001 < 0.05;the semen p H value of the control group was not significantly decreased,P=0.345 > 0.05;the semen p H value of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,P=0.019 < 0.05.7.After treatment,the TCM syndrome score of the observation group was significantly lower than that before treatment,P=0.000 < 0.05;the TCM syndrome score of the control group did not change significantly,P=0.074 > 0.05;after treatment,the TCM syndrome score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,P=0.000 < 0.05.8.No serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during treatment.Conclusion: Jing Coagulation liquefaction decoction can effectively shorten the time of semen liquefaction in patients without semen liquefaction.Improve semen quality of patients: improve semen volume,sperm concentration and total sperm motility of patients,reduce semen p H value of patients to a certain extent;Improve patients’ discomfort symptoms,relieve Patients’ discomfort caused by phlegm-heat,such as upset,dry mouth and thirst,cough and phlegm,which is helpful to improve patients’ quality of life;There were no serious complications and adverse reactions during the treatment,and the safety was good.It is proved that treating semen from phlegm-heat has good clinical effect. |
