TCM Physical Identification Of Abnormal Semen Liquefaction In Male Infertility

ObjectiveIn this study, the comparison of abnormal semen liquefaction normal semen liquefaction in the semen quality parameters in male infertility,discusses abnormal semen liquefaction effects on semen quality, elucidation of the mechanism which leads to male infertility. Meanwhile classify TCM constitution, to be found in semen liquefaction abnormalities from specific physical, provide a reference for clinical treatment and daily life in the food conditioning.MethodsThis study was based on case screening criteria, were randomly selected to meet the requirements of cases 101 cases were divided into two groups, one group of 55 cases of abnormal semen liquefaction, semen liquefaction normal group of 46 patients. According to the report of the patient’s semen quality, record the value of the main parameters of the correlation of the t test;while using TCM constitution scale investigation to determine the physical table is determined according to TCM constitution, recording various physical types of cases, the two statistics frequency of various physical types of groups appeared, using chi-square and fisher test were compared for differences in physical type.Results(1) Abnormal group and normal group no statistical differences in age and abstinence days, two groups of comparable data, record all cases semen report semen parameters, using t test were compared, found in the two groups in the rate of sperm quantity, sperm density, sperm activity, sperm deformity rate, class a, class b activity rate, class a+b activity rate, P values were greater than 0.05, there is no statistical significance between groups.(2) Abnormal semen liquefaction each group TCM constitution constitution total frequency of 113 times, mainly in the Qi deficiency 27 times (23.89%), Yang quality 27 times(23.89%), phlegm 19 times(16.81%), hot and humid mass 19 times (16.81%). The normal group each TCM constitution constitution total frequency of 87 times mainly in the gentleness of 24 times(27.59%), Yang quality 12 times(13.79%),phlegm 12 times(13.79%), heat mass 13 times(14.94%). Two groups were compared with two parameters, which gentleness Qi deficiency group and group P values<0.05, statistically significant, other various types of physical, P> 0.05, not statistically significant.ConclusionAbnormal semen liquefaction group and normal group in semen quality parameter differences there is no statistical significance, so abnormal semen liquefaction caused no obvious influence on semen quality parameters, it leads to infertility may be associated with other mechanisms. Abnormal group and normal group keep differences in physical distribution of traditional Chinese medicine. Qi deficiency may result in abnormal semen liquefaction is one of the important pathogenesis in TCM.
