| Objective:The objective of this study was to observe the effects of Jintiange capsule combined with percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)on osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture in elderly patients.The clinical eficacy of OVCF and the prevention effect of postoperative recurrent vertebral fractures provide a basis for the clinical treatment and prevention of recurrent fractures in elderly patients with OVCF.Methods:A total of 110 patients diagnosed with OVCF and treated with PKP in the Department of Orthopedics of Linyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 1,2019 to December 31,2019 were selected as the study objects.According to random number table method,the patients were divided into observation group and control group,55 cases in each group.Both groups received anti-osteoporosis treatment,observation group took Jintiange capsule,control group took JinTiange capsule simulation agent.Take it for 3 months.Bone metabolism indexes,clinical efficacy,quantitative indexes of osteoporosis symptoms,adverse reactions,efficacy of TCM symptoms,VAS score and recurrence fracture rate 2 years after treatment were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:In the observation group,2 patients died due to aging,1 patient withdrew from the study due to malignant tumor,2 patients fell off due to lack of examination records,2 patients in the control group fell off due to lack of examination records,and 3 patients fell off due to failure to take medicine as prescribed.50 patients were actually included in the study observation group and 50 in the control group.1.Bone metabolism indexes:After treatment,BMD 1 and BMD 2 in the observation group were(-2.58±0.88)and(-2.65±0.74)respectively,while BMD1 and BMD 2 in the control group were(-2.71±0.21)and(-2.79±0.26)respectively.BMD in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Clinical efficacy:The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.00%(47/50),and that of the control group was 78.00%(39/50).The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Quantitative indicators of osteoporosis symptoms:After treatment,the score of lumbar and knee tenderness in the observation group was(3.79±1.02),the score of lower limb cramp was(4.15±0.98),the score of lumbar and knee tenderness in the control group was(4.21±1.14),and the score of lower limb cramp was(4.63±0.72).The symptoms of lumbar and knee tenderness and lower limb cramp in the observation group were significantly improved compared with the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Adverse reactions:The incidence of adverse reactions was 12.00%(6/50)in the observation group and 6.00%(3/50)in the control group,and there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).5.Efficacy of TCM syndrome:The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the observation group was 94.00%(47/50),and that in the control group was 72.00%(36/50).The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).6.VAS score:After treatment,VAS score of the observation group was(1.47±0.86)and that of the control group was(2.98±0.47).VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Recurrence fracture rate 2 years after surgery:The recurrence fracture rate of the observation group was 4.00%(2/50),and that of the control group was 16.00%(8/50).The recurrence fracture rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:According to the observation and analysis of 100 elderly patients with OVCF in this study,Jintiange capsule can significantly improve bone mineral density,relieve bone pain of osteoporosis,improve osteoporosis symptoms,improve clinical efficacy and reduce the rate of postoperative refracture.Jintiange capsule combined with PKP has better efficacy in the treatment of elderly OVCF,and can also prevent postoperative reoccurrence of vertebral fracture,worthy of clinical promotion. |
