| Objective: To verify the comprehensive efficacy of acupoints catgut embedding and Paidujianfei tablets in patients with overweight/obese type2 diabetes mellitus.The clinical symptoms,obesity indexes(body weight,waist-hip ratio,BMI),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and other metabolic indexes of patients were observed and compared,and the efficacy and safety of the treatment were analyzed.To provide new ideas for TCM diagnosis and treatment of overweight/obese type 2 diabetes.Methods: 90 patients with overweight/obese type 2 diabetes who were treated in the endocrine clinic and ward of the affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese Medicine from December 1,2021 to December 31,2022 were randomly divided into control group,experimental group 1 and experimental group 2.The control group was given metformin hydrochloride,and the experimental group 1 was given Paidujianfei tablets on the basis of the control group.The experimental group 2 was treated with acupoints catgut embedding method on the basis of group 1,and the related indexes were observed and recorded for 12 weeks.The clinical treatment lasted for 12 weeks,and the relevant indicators were observed and recorded.Results:1.Improvement of TCM syndromes: The clinical symptoms of the three groups were improved(P<0.05),and the efficacy of the three groups was significantly different(P<0.05),trial group 2 was better than trial group 1,trial group 1 was better than the control group.The total effective rates of group 2,group 1 and control group were 72.41%,46.67%and 6.9%,respectively.2.weight loss: The body weight of the three groups decreased after treatment(P < 0.05).The weight loss effect of group 2 was better than that of group 1,and the weight loss effect of group 1 was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).There was no significant improvement in group 1 and control group,and there was no significant difference among the three groups.The BMI of the three groups decreased after treatment,and the decrease of BMI in group 2 was significantly higher than that in group 1 and the control group.Comparison of body weight and curative effect: All the three groups were effective after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference among the three groups(P<0.05).The effective rate of group2 was 100%.The total effective rates of group 2,group 1 and control group were 100%,53.33% and 17.24%,respectively.3.Hypoglycemia: FPG and Hb A1 c decreased after treatment in the experimental group.Compared between groups,the decrease of FPG in group2 was better than that in group 1,and that in group 1 was better than that in control group.The decrease in Hb A1 c in group 2 was better than that in group 1 and control group,and there was no difference between control group and group 1.4.Improve blood lipids: After treatment,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the experimental group were improved(P < 0.05).Compared between groups,the decrease of TC,TG and LDL-C in group 2 was better than that in group 1,and that in group 1 was better than that in control group.5.There was no obvious abnormality in the safety index of the patients before and after treatment.Conclusion: Paidujianfei tablets combined with acupoints catgut embedding in overweight/obese patients with type 2 diabetes can not only significantly improve the clinical syndrome of TCM,but also effectively reduce body weight while lowering blood sugar and fat.It provides a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of overweight / obesity type2 diabetes and the prevention and control of diabetic complications. |
