Clinical Observation Of Huatan Quyu Formula Combined With Metformin In Treating PCOS With IR Of Phlegm-stasis And Interjunction Type

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Huatan Quyu formula combined with Western medicine in the treatment of phlegm-stasis interjunction polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)with insulin resistance(IR),and to provide scientific basis for clinical practice.Methods:90 patients with phlegm-stasis interjunction PCOS with IR were divided into 3 groups by random number table method.The traditional Chinese medicine group(30 cases)received Huatan Quyu formula.Western medicine group(30 cases)took metformin hydrochloride tablets,Chinese and Western medicine group(30 cases)took Huatan Quyu prescription combined with metformin hydrochloride tablets;After 3 consecutive cycles of treatment,TCM syndrome score,FSH,LH,LH/FSH,T,FINS,HOMA-IR,acne score,BMI and comprehensive efficacy of patients in 3 groups were observed before and after treatment,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Huatan Quyu prescription combined with metformin in the treatment of phlegm-stasis Huatan Quyu type PCOS with IR.Results:In terms of improving TCM syndromes,the Chinese and western medicine group was significantly better than the other two groups in improving TCM clinical symptoms and improving menstruation,and could still maintain good efficacy after withdrawal of medicine,and the efficacy of the Chinese medicine group was better than the Western medicine group.In terms of sex hormones,the three groups had no significant regulatory effect on FSH,but significantly decreased LH,LH/FSH and T.The Chinese and western medicine group was significantly superior to the Chinese medicine group and the Western medicine group,but there was no significant difference between the Chinese medicine group and the Western medicine group.In terms of acne improvement,the three groups of treatment had certain improvement on acne,the curative effect after treatment:Chinese and Western medicine group> Chinese medicine group > Western medicine group.In terms of decreasing serum INS and improving IR,the curative effect after treatment was:Chinese and Western medicine group > Western medicine group >Chinese medicine group.In terms of weight improvement,all the three groups had weight loss effect,the Chinese and western medicine group was better than the other two groups,and the difference between the western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group was not obvious.In terms of total efficacy,the Chinese and western medicine group was superior to the other two groups,and the difference between the western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group was not obvious.Conclusion(s):Huatan Quyu prescription combined with metformin has obvious effect on the treatment of PCOS with IR of phlegm-stasis interjunction type.
