Observation Of The Curative Effect Of Huatan Tiaojing Decoction Combined With Metformin In The Treatment Of PCOS-IR Phlegm-dampness Block Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Huatan Tiaojing Recipe combined with metformin on patients with polycystic ovary syndrome with insulin resistance and phlegm-dampness block syndrome,comprehensively analyze its clinical efficacy observation results,and preliminarily explore its mechanism of action to provide a scientific basis for clinical application.Methods: The study selected 60 patients who attended the gynecological clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to August 2020 and met the diagnostic criteria of PCOS-IR phlegm-damp block syndrome.They were randomly assigned according to the time of visit and divided into treatment There were 30 cases in the group and 30 cases in the control group.The treatment group was treated with Huatan Tiaojing Decoction + metformin,and the control group was treated with single-drug metformin.The scores of TCM syndromes,BMI,sex hormones(FSH,LH,LH/FSH,T),fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,HOMA-IR,etc.were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the clinical effects of the two groups were compared.Results: 1.Before treatment,the independent sample t test was performed on the age,disease course,height,weight,BMI and other general data of the treatment group and the control group.The results showed that the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and it was comparable.2.The clinical efficacy of the two groups is statistically different(P<0.05),and the results of the study show that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.3.In terms of improving TCM syndromes: the scores of the two groups decreased significantly(P<0.01),and the treatment group decreased significantly.4.In terms of improving the patient's body mass index: after treatment,the treatment group and the control group can effectively reduce the weight of the patient and reduce the patient's BMI.There is a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.01);there is no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).5.In terms of improving sex hormone levels: both groups can reduce patients' LH,LH/FSH,and T levels(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group,indicating that combined Chinese and Western therapy can better regulate the patient's sex hormone levels.6.In terms of improving insulin resistance: After treatment,the serum levels of FPG,FINS and HOMA-IR of the two groups of patients decreased compared with the comparison before treatment(P<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group in improving FINS and HOMA-IR(P<0.05).Conclusion: This study shows that,the Huatan Tiaojing Decoction combined with metformin can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and BMI of patients with PCOS-IR phlegm-damp block syndrome,reduce serum LH,LH/FSH,and T,improve the endocrine environment,and reduce insulin Resistance index,high safety,provide clinical diagnosis and treatment ideas worthy of reference.
