| Objective This study is about the clinical study on the effect of traditional Chinese and western medicine in treating polycystic ovary sydrome with insulin resistance. Through purely Western medicine and traditional Chinese and western medicine therapy in women with Polycystic ovary syndrome before and after treatment of symptoms due to menstruation,aene,hairness,BBT of polycystic ovary syndrome and observated the change of the levels in serum of LH,FSH,T,FINS,FPG in order to explore the effect of traditional Chinese and western medicine in treating polycystic ovary sydrome with insulin resistance.Method The choice conforms to this topic diagnosis standard research object 44examples,stochastically divides into the experimental group 23 examples,the comparison group 21 examples. The experimental group uses artificial periodicitcal treatment of Chinese medicine union metformin. The comparison group uses metformin only. The imformation of Patients'endocrine secretion was tested pretherapy and 3 months after treatment. At the sametime,we observed the improvement of clinical symptomes such as menstruation,body weight,BBT and so on.Result1. After treatment ,the cases of irregular menstruation improved significantly in TCM combined with western medicine group and western medicine group(P<0.05), while they were all improved significantly between the two groups(P<0.05);After three months post-treatment BBT one-way improved significantly in TCM combined with western medicine group (P<0.05).Acne,hirsute seore had not significant difference in the two groups respectively as compared before and after treatment(P>0.05),and they also had not significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).2. After treatment ,the levels of serum LH,LH/FSH,T in TCM combined with western medicine group and western medicine group were all obviously lower than those of pretherapy(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The levels of serum FSH were not obviously lower than those of pretherapy(P>0.05),while there was not singificnt difference between the two groups after treament(P>0.05).3.After treatment ,the levels of serum FINS in TCM combined with western medicine group and western medicine group were all obviously lower than those of pretherapy (P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).After treatment ,the levels of serum ISI in TCM combined with western medicine group and western medicine group were all obviously higher than those of pretherapy(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The levels of serum FPG were notobviously lower than those of pretherapy(P>0.05),while there was not singificnt differencebetween the two groups after treament(P>0.05).Conclusion The artificial periodicitcal treatment of Chinese medicine combined Westernmedicine was a significant therapeutic principle of phlegm PCOS with IR. It could decrease thelevels of LH,LH/FSH,T,BMI,FINS and increase the level of ISI significantly to regulatemenstruation, recover OV,and impregnate a few infertility patients. The therapeutic effect wasbetter than the effect of using simple western medicine.
