Objective:1.To compare the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine directional penetration, simple warm acupuncture and moxibustion and simple traditional Chinese medicine directional penetration in the treatment of supraspinatus tendinitis.2.Explore the impact of this method on shoulder joint pain, function, and patient quality of life during the treatment of supraspinatus tendinitis.3.Provide effective methods for patients seeking conservative treatment to alleviate their pain and suffering. To provide theoretical basis and experience for further exploring the treatment methods and clinical efficacy of supraspinatus tendinitis. Methods:Selecting patients with supraspinatus tendinitis who visited the Orthopedic Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2022 as the research subjects,78 patients who met the standards were ultimately included. They were randomly divided into an experimental group, control group I and control group II,with 26 patients in each group, using a random number table method. The test group was treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine directed penetration, the control group I was treated with traditional Chinese medicine directed penetration only, and the control group II was treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion only, once a day, five consecutive days a week, two days of rest, two weeks as a course of treatment. After one course of treatment, the patient’s visual analog score(VAS),shoulder joint activity(ROM),activity of daily living(ADL)Perform statistical analysis and efficacy evaluation on the changes in shoulder joint scoring system(UCLA)scores. Results:Statistical analysis was conducted on the clinical data of the three groups of patients before treatment, and there was no significant difference in age, gender, and course of disease(P>0.05).The observation indicators VAS score,ADL score,ROM score, and UCLA score showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After one course of treatment, statistical analysis was conducted on the intra group comparison and inter group comparison of observation indicators before and after treatment among the three groups of patients. After treatment, the symptoms of the three groups of patients improved, and the changes in VAS score,ADL score,ROM score, and UCLA score of the patients showed significant differences compared to before treatment(P<0.05).By comparing the VAS score,ADL score,ROM score, and UCLA score between each of the three groups of patients after treatment, the changes before and after the treatment were observed. There was no statistically significant difference between control group I and control group II(P>0.05).The experimental group was compared with control group I and control group II,and the treatment effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of control group I and control group II,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Warming acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine directional penetration therapy has obvious effects on improving shoulder function, relieving local pain around the shoulder joint, and improving the quality of life of patients. It can effectively avoid the first pass effect effect of oral drugs.By directly treating the pain,it can significantly enhance the efficacy, and at the same time,it can avoid side injuries caused by invasive treatment such as surgery,The treatment effect on supraspinatus tendinitis is significant.
