Observation On The Curative Effect Of Cluster Scalp Acupuncture Combined Vestibular Rehabilitation Training On Patients With Peripheral Vertigo

Obj ective:This study aims to integrate traditional medicine with modern medical rehabilitation means,observe the therapeutic effect of cluster scalp acupuncture and vestibular rehabilitation training methods in patients with peripheral vertigo,and provide a more safe,effective,economic and practical non-drug treatment.Methods:Sixty patients with peripheral vertigo who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method,the treatment group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with vestibular rehabilitation,and the treatment group was treated with cluster scalp acupuncture with vestibular rehabilitation.Patients in both groups were treated once a day,6d/week,for consecutive 4 weeks as a course of treatment.A total of 1 course of treatment was treated before and after treatment,and we used Dizziness Handicap Inventory,(DHI)Berg Balance Scale(BBS)and Barthel Index Score scale were used for statistical analysis of the two groups of patients.Results:(1)The BBS DHI and Barthel index scores of patients in the treatment group and control group were not statistically significant before treatment(P>0.05),but were statistically significant after treatment(P<0.05).(2)The BBS score,DHI score and Barthel index score before and after treatment were compared between the two groups,and it was found that the BBS score,DHI score and Barthel index score of each group were significantly improved after treatment,which had statistical significance;(3)After treatment between the two groups,the scores of the treatment group increased more significantly(P<0.05),and the efficacy was better than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The BBS score,DHI score and Barthel index score of patients with vestibular rehabilitation training and cluster scalp acupuncture combined with vestibular rehabilitation training changed more significantly after treatment than before treatment,all of which could significantly improve the subjective symptom severity,balance function and self-care ability of patients with peripheral vertigo.2.After treatment,BBS,DHI and Barthel index scores increased more significantly in patients with cluster scalp acupuncture combined with vestibular rehabilitation training,which is superior to vestibular rehabilitation training alone in improving subjective symptom severity,balance function and self-care ability of patients with peripheral vertigo,and can be applied and promoted in clinical practice.
