OBJECTIVE:By observing the clinical efficacy of two intervention measures of needle-embedding therapy combined with Chinese medicine decoction pieces and Chinese medicine decoction pieces alone to spleen deficiency and liver wang of tic disorder, objectively evaluating the clinical safety and effectiveness of the two treatment methods, and discussing the improvement of patients’ condition after treatment, providing reference for the clinical use of needle-embedding therapy combined with Chinese medicine decoction pieces in the treatment of this disease.METHOD:A total of 76 TD patients were admitted to this study and randomly divided into 2groups with 38 cases in each group. The treatment method of the study group was needle-embedding therapy combined with Chinese medicine decoction pieces, while the control group only used Chinese medicine decoction pieces. In the study group, the needle-embedding therapy was treated twice a week, and change the needle once every three days, the study group and the control group were treated twice a day for Chinese medicine decoction pieces, four weeks as a course of treatment, two courses of treatment.Yale Tic Syndrome Global Severity Scale(YGTSS)and traditional Chinese medicine symptom Quantification Scale were scored the day before, after one course of treatment and after two courses of treatment, respectively, and the efficacy was evaluated. Results data analysis was completed using SPSS26.0.RESULTS:1.Before treatment, gender, age, course of disease, total score of YGTSS,motor performance score, vocal performance score, overall damage and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score of the two groups were compared between the two groups, all of which were P > 0.05,and had no significant difference, indicating comparability.2.Intra-group comparison of YGTSS between the two groups before treatment, after one course of treatment and after two courses of treatment showed P < 0.01,and the difference was statistically significant. The study group and the control group had significant effects after one course of treatment and two courses of treatment.3.Comparison between the two groups before treatment, after one course of treatment and after two courses of treatment, the score of motor performance, vocal performance and overall damage were all P < 0.01,and the differences were statistically significant. The study group and the control group had significant effects after one course of treatment and two courses of treatment.4.The scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of the two groups before treatment, after the first course of treatment and after the second course of treatment were compared within the group, all P < 0.01,and the difference was statistically significant.5.Comparison of traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores between the two groups after one course of treatment,P< 0.05,the difference was statistically significant. After the second course of treatment, the scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms between the two groups were compared P >0.05,the difference was not statistically significant, there was no significant difference between the two groups after the second course of treatment.6.Comparison of clinical efficacy before and after treatment between the two groups, the total effective rate of the study group was 96.9%,and that of the control group was88.5%.P< 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.CONCLUSION:1.Needle-embedding therapy combined with Chinese medicine decoction pieces and Chinese medicine decoction pieces alone can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of spleen deficiency and liver wang type of tic disorder.2.The overall clinical effect of Needle-embedding therapy combined with Chinese medicine decoction pieces was better than Chinese medicine decoction pieces alone.3.Needle-embedding therapy combined with Chinese medicine decoction pieces in the treatment of adverse reaction rate is low, safe and reliable.
