Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Warming Acupuncture And Moxibustion Combined With Regulating Mind And Marrow On Dementia Of The Type Of Insufficient Marrow Sea

Objective:The clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with the method of regulating mind and marrow in the treatment of dementia with insufficient marrow sea was observed to verify the effectiveness of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with the method of regulating mind and marrow in the treatment of dementia with insufficient marrow sea.Methods: From 2022.01 to 2023.01,60 patients with dementia of the type of insufficient medullary sea admitted to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into control group(30 cases)and treatment group(30 cases)(warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with the method of regulating the soul and marrow)by random envelope method.Seven days was a course of treatment.After two courses of treatment,the simplified mental state examination scale(MMSE)The Daily Living Ability Scale(ADL)and Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Rating Scale(SDSD)are used as observation indicators to observe the overall cognitive function,daily living ability,and improvement of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome of patients,and to compare the effectiveness of the two methods in treating medullary sea deficiency dementia.Results: After two courses of treatment,(1)MMSE scores before and after treatment in both groups showed an increasing trend compared to before treatment,and the treatment group showed a statistically significant increase in scores before and after treatment(P<0.05);(2)Comparison of ADL scores before and after treatment between the two groups: Compared with before treatment,both groups showed a decrease in ADL scores after treatment,with the treatment group showing a more significant decrease than the control group,but without statistical significance(P>0.05);(3)SDSD scores before and after treatment in both groups: Compared with before treatment,the SDSD scores obtained after treatment showed a significant decrease(P<0.05),with the treatment group showing a more significant decrease(P<0.05)compared to the control group,and the improvement in self-care ability was more significant;(4)Overall efficacy comparison:The control group can achieve a total effective rate of 70%,while the treatment group can achieve a total effective rate of 93.33%.There is a statistically significant difference in the effective rate between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of warming acupuncture and moxibustion and regulating the spirit and marrow has a significant effect on dementia of the type of insufficient marrow sea;The combination of warming acupuncture and moxibustion and regulating mind and marrow can improve the daily living ability of patients with dementia of the type of insufficient marrow sea more than acupuncture alone;The combination of warming acupuncture and moxibustion and regulating the spirit and marrow has more advantages than acupuncture alone in improving the syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of dementia of the type of insufficient marrow sea.
