Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To investigate the relationship between the level of serum cyclophilin A(cyclophilin A)and the severity of coronary artery disease(coronary heart disease,CHD)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(diabetes mellitus type 2 T2DM)complicated with coronary heart disease(coronary heart disease,CHD).Methods: A total of 250 patients with coronary heart disease were divided into normal control group,non-diabetic stable angina pectoris(stableanginapectoris,SAP)group, stable angina pectoris with type 2diabetes mellitus(SAP+T2DM)group,non-diabetic acute coronary syndrome group(acutecoronarysyndrome,ACS)and acute coronary syndrome with type 2 diabetes mellitus(ACS+T2DM)group.The basic data, serum biochemical indexes, serum Cy PA concentration, coronary Gensini score and the number of diseased coronary arteries in each group were compared, and Pearson correlation analysis and binary Logistic regression analysis were performed.Results:(1)The age, history of hypertension,FPG and Hb A1 c in the CHD group with T2 DM were higher than those in the CHD group alone(Average P < 0.01).(2)compared with SAP group, the serum Cy PA level and Gensini score of SAP+T2DM group were higher(Average P<0.05);and the serum Cy PA level and Gensini score of ACS+T2DM group were higher than those of ACS group(Average P<0.05).(3)the results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a linear positive correlation between serum Cy PA level and Gensini score in patients with T2 DM complicated with coronary heart disease(r = 0.823,P<0.05),but there was no significant correlation between serum Cy PA level and Gensini score in CHD group with normal blood glucose(r = 0.187,P > 0.05).(4)the levels of serum Cy PA and Hb A1 c in multi-vessel disease group were significantly higher than those in two-vessel disease group and single-vessel disease group(P<0.05).(5)compared with SAP group, the levels of Cy PA and Hb A1 c in ACS group were significantly higher(P<0.05).(6)binary Logistic regression analysis showed that the increase of serum Cyp A was an independent risk factor for coronary artery disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(P < 0.05).Conclusions:Serum Cy PA level can be used as an effective marker to predict the degree and complexity of coronary artery lesions in T2 DM.Cy PA combined with Hb1 Ac is closely related to ACS and plays an important role in the nature of coronary lesions.
