Clinical Research Of Tianma Gouteng Decoction And Acupuncture In Treating Hypertension Of Yin Deficiency And Yang Hyperactivity

Objective: To observe the combination of Tianma Gouteng Decoction with acupuncture was provided as a new therapy for Yin Deficiency and Yang Hyperactivity Type Hypertension or not.Corresponding points of blood pressure and TCM syndromes were used to evaluate the clinical efficiency,which also suggested the validity of the combined treatment.Methods: 72 cases eligible for inclusion with Yin Deficiency and Yang Hyperactivity Type Hypertension were selected and is randomly divided into treatment group and control group of 36 cases each.The treatment group receives oral medication(Tianma Gouteng Decoction)2 times daily combined with acupuncture treatment once daily for 14 days course,while the control group receives oral medication of benzene sulfonate 2.5mg once daily for 14 days course.After 14 days of treatment,the blood pressure values of the two groups were recorded,and the score of TCM syndrome was changed.At the same time,the above observation indicators were analyzed statistically,and the clinical efficacy and safety of Tianma Gouteng Decoction combined with acupuncture in treating Yin Deficiency and Yang Hyperactivity Type Hypertension were evaluated.Results: The blood pressure value of the two groups was significantly improved.The systolic pressure of treatment group was 131.43±6.26 mm Hg,while diastolic systolic was72.43±4.98 mm Hg.For control group shown systolic pressure 140.33±6.08 mm Hg and the diastolic pressure was 80.10±5.82 mm Hg.The comparison between two groups were compared and is statistically significant(P<0.05).The Score of TCM Syndrome of two groups were compared: Both groups have significant difference in the symptoms of dizziness,headache,low sleeping quality,redness tongue,tinnitus,five center heat,thin white tongue coating,bad mood and etc.(P<0.05).While,there is no statistical significance(P>0.05)between the groups for symptoms of irritability,palpitation and less energy.The comparison on efficacy of the treatment shown it has significantly difference between two groups for the range of TCM Syndrome and blood pressure in post treatment.The total efficiency of the treatment group was 86.66%,while the control group was 80% and it was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of TCM syndrome for treatment group was93.33% and for control group was 86.66%.This showed significant difference between two groups(p<0.05).Conclusion : The combination of Tianma Gouteng Decoction with acupuncture treatment has a better effect in treating Yin Deficiency and Yang Hyperactivity Type Hypertension.Moreover,the efficiency of treatment group is better than the oral benzene sulfonate control group by effectively reduce the blood pressure,relieve headache,dizziness,insomnia,tinnitus,reddish tongue and etc.This is an effective unique therapeutic which is safe,in a green process and is easily applicable to clinical treatment.
