Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture combined with needle knife in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder,by comparing the difference in efficacy between warm acupuncture combined with needle knife therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy. Methods:In this study, the principles of inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were strictly followed, and 72 patients with periarthritis of shoulder were collected and randomly assigned to the treatment group(warm acupuncture with needle knife)and the control group(conventional acupuncture),with 36 cases in each group, and the efficacy of both groups was evaluated after 3 courses of treatment. The clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture with needle knife in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder was determined by observing the scores of VAS scale,CMS scale,ROM scale and ADL score scale.Results:1.The VAS scale,CMS scale,ROM scale and ADL score scale were analyzed between the treatment and control groups before treatment, and the data yielded P>0.05,indicating that the two groups of patients were comparable.2.In terms of VAS scores:intra-group comparison between the treatment and control groups before and after treatment, respectively, showed significant differences(P<0.05),indicating that both groups had less painful symptoms in the shoulder after treatment than before treatment, indicating that both therapies could effectively treat the painful symptoms of frozen shoulder;inter-group comparison between the treatment and control groups after treatment resulted in lower scores in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05),This indicates that the treatment group was more significant than the control group in relieving shoulder pain symptoms.3.In terms of CMS scores, there was a significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both groups were able to improve shoulder function in periarthritis after treatment;in the comparison between the treatment and control groups after treatment, the scores of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving shoulder function.4.In terms of ROM scores, there was a significant difference between the treatment and control groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both groups could improve shoulder joint mobility;when comparing the treatment and control groups after treatment, the former scores were higher than the latter(P<0.05),indicating that warm acupuncture with needle knife was better than conventional acupuncture in improving shoulder j oint mobility.5.In terms of ADL scores, there was a significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),which indicated that both groups had better efficacy in improving activities of daily living;after treatment, the treatment group and the control group were compared, and the treatment group was higher than the control group(P<0.05),which indicated that the treatment group had significant efficacy in improving activities of daily living.6.In terms of total effective rate,16 cases were cured,10 cases were apparently effective,5 cases were effective, and 3 cases were invalid in the treatment group, with a total effective rate of 91.18%;6 cases were cured,9 cases were apparently effective,11 cases were effective, and 8 cases were invalid in the control group, with a total effective rate of 76.47%,and there was a significant difference between the treatment and control groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with needle knife and conventional acupuncture can treat periarthritis of shoulder, and both of them have significant clinical effects, both of which can improve the symptoms of periarthritis of shoulder. However, warm acupuncture combined with needle knife is better than conventional acupuncture in improving shoulder pain and shoulder joint function, and the healthy,non-toxic side effects of this treatment,so it is worthy of being widely used in clinical practice.
