| Objective: This study investigated the treatment of one of its mentioned eight diseases,rhinorrhoea,that is,allergic rhinitis,by observing A-B Classic of Acupuncture and Moxibustion using the acupoint formula of " Shangxing acupoint ",which chose Shangxing and Yixi first and Tianyou and Fengchi second,which is comparing with traditional acupuncture and loratadine,western medicine.Observe the Total Nasal Symptom Score(TNSS),Rhino-Conjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndromes on patient before and after treatment,In the hope of providing a simple and practical protocol for the clinical treatment of acupuncture with high efficacy and no toxic side effects,it will also be necessary for future in-depth studies to unearth the mechanism of the special acupoint prescription and the sequential basis of acupoint retrieval,thereby providing a reliable theoretical support for the treatment of the remaining several diseases by this acupoint and the classic,as well as shedding new light on the selection group for clinical acupuncture treatment at a later stage.Methods: This study use random number block to divide 99 patients into three groups through1:1:1 ratio.Shangxing acupoint prescription group: treatment by acupuncture at the acupoint "Shangxing acupoint prescription";general acupuncture group: cure with general acupuncture;drug group: taking loratadine therapy,once a day,seven days a periodicity,a total of four periodicity,1month follow-up.Using the Total Nasal Symptom Score(TNSS),Rhino-Conjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)and the TCM syndrome as evaluating indicator in the time of before treatment,after the first treatment,after the last treatment and at follow-up in the three groups.All statistical data were analyzed and described using spss25.0 statistical software.Results:1.Contrast of overall therapy efficiency: After finishing the therapy,the drug group reached68.8%,the general acupuncture group reached 78.8%,and 96.9% in the Shangxing group.The differene of three groups’ s effective rate is obvious(P<0.05).Compare with two groups,the Shangxing prescription group differ clearly from the remaining two groups(P<0.05).But the effect of general acupuncture is similar to other two groups(P>0.05).2.TNSS scores:There was no difference between three groups scores before therapy(P>0.05).The three groups scores in three different time points have obvious difference compared with before therapy(P<0.05).Then,the overall contrast between the three groups differed clearly at the three times(P<0.05).After pairwise contrast,the general acupuncture group was about the same as the other two groups when they first finished therapy(P>0.05),but prescription group differs from drug group(P<0.05).After the final therapy,the general acupuncture group and the drug group are similar(P>0.05),but the prescription group differ from the other two groups obviously(P<0.05).In the follow-up visit,the prescription group differ from the other two groups obviously(P<0.05).3.RQLQ scores: Patients in the three groups before therapy were about the same(P>0.05).At all three post-treatment times,patient scores in all three groups differed from pre-treatm ent(P<0.05).Then,the overall contrast between the three groups differed clearly at the three ti-mes(P<0.05).After pairwise contrast,The drug group differed from the remaining two groups(P<0.05),but prescription group is similar to the general acupuncture group(P>0.05).After the final therapy and follow-up visit,the three groups are dissimilar from each other(P<0.05).4.TCM syndrome quantitative scores: Patients in the three groups before therapy were about the same(P>0.05).At all three post-treatment times,patient scores in all three groups differed from pre-treatment(P<0.05).Then,the overall contrast between the three groups differed clearly at the three times(P<0.05).After pairwise contrast,The drug group differed from the remaining two groups(P<0.05),but prescription group is similar to the general acupuncture group(P>0.05).After the final therapy and follow-up visit,the three groups are dissimilar from each other(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The clinical efficacy of the acupoint formula group of "Shangxing acupoint" is better than the general acupuncture group.Prescriptions are similar to those recommended for general acupuncture.Because the number of acupuncture point is small and convenient,so it is worth adopting to promote.2.The prescription group,the general acupuncture group and the medication group all optimize the patient’s symptoms,lifestyle and Chinese medical evidence aspects.3.The acupoint formula group of "Shangxing acupoint" is superior to the conventional acupuncture group and medicine group in improving nasal symptoms,quality of life,and traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in patients with allergic rhinitis due to lung deficiency and cold type,which deserves further clinical promotion and application.4.The profound academic connotations of the prescriptions and their enlightening implications for future academic and clinical work deserve further in-depth exploration. |
