| After the "the September 18 th Incident" in 1931,a group of young northeastern writers were forced to live in exile for as long as 14 years. This is an unknown journey full of hardships, loneliness and vagrancy. They did not lose their will, but always insisted on the hope for life, the pursuit of freedom, for the dignity of the nation, with the pen as a weapon, and successively created exiled literary works reflecting the fate of the times, the nation and individuals.Literary historians call them "A group of Northeast writers ",or more precisely " A group of Northeast writers in exile".Among them,Xiao Jun,Xiao Hong and Duanmu Hongliang have the highest creative achievements and the greatest influence. The research on "Northeast Writers Group" began with Lu Xun and Hu Feng’s comments on the famous works of Xiao Jun and Xiao Hong in the 1930 s.After the victory of the Anti-Japanese-War,this group gradually disintegrated, coupled with the political changes after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the relevant research was once stagnant or even dusty.Until the literature recovery in the new era,the "Northeast Writers Group" reappeared in the eyes of scholars and critics, and became one of the hot spots in Chinese Modern Literature with a number of fruitful research achievements. In recent years, although the research on the "Northeast Writers Group" has gained some achievements, the research vision and research methods have also been updated compared with before,it has never been expanded in the research content.Even if the results of the same research on the theme of the Northeast Writers’ novels,it often focuses on the repeated discussion and even over interpretation of the theme of anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism,and the theme of homesick. In general, the research on the "Northeast Writers Group" is still lack of new and unique research perspectives and research methods, and lack of high-level and more in-depth comprehensive research, which makes it a relatively short board in Chinese Modern Literature research.Based on the previous scholars’ relevant research on "Northeast Literature in Exile",this paper pays special attention to the influence of "Exile" on Northeast Exile Writers and the significance of their novel creation, trying to redefine and explain the concept of the "Exile",focusing on the most representative writers Xiao Jun,Xiao Hong and Duanmu Hongliang, comprehensively and deeply explore the formation, multiple connotations and aesthetic characteristics of the theme of "Exile" in the novels of Northeast Exile Writers. This paper consists of five parts: introduction, chapter one, chapter two, chapter three, and conclusion. The first part is the introduction, which mainly discusses the research object, research status and research significance. The first is to reorganize and define the concept of "exile",which is a theoretical premise for the research of this paper;the second is to clarify the research object and define the scope of this paper, that is,the Northeast Exiled Writers represented by Xiao Jun,Xiao Hong and Duanmu Hongliang are the research objects;thirdly, the research history and current situation of Northeast Exiled Writers are systematically combed, and the relevant research is commented. Finally,it points out that the research in this paper is an attempt to break through and promote the relevant research, which has a certain theoretical significance and innovation. The second part is the chapter one of the text, which mainly discusses the formation of "exile theme" in the novels of northeast exiled writers.First of all,it discusses the special influence of exile experience and exile experience on the creation of exile novels, that is,the tragic experience of exile enriches the theme and content of novel creation, and the deep experience of exile deepens the thought and intention of novel creation.Secondly,it discusses the important significance of the exile’s marginal identity and multiple perspectives on the creation of novels, that is,the important significance of the marginal identity to the exiled writers’ understanding of the world and self-reflection,and the impact of multiple perspectives on the ideological theme and artistic structure of the novel creation. The third part is the chapter two of the text, which is also the core chapter of this paper. It mainly discusses the three connotations of "exile theme" in the novels of Northeast Exiled Writers, that is,the three specific groups of themes in exile novels. The first is the theme of "exile and homesickness".Northeast Exiled Writers have both inherited and developed the theme of modern local literature. The second is the theme of "resistance and criticism",including the enlightenment theme of "anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism" and "criticizing national character" in Chinese Modern Literature. The third is the theme of "freedom and watch",which is a spiritual theme with modern significance. The fourth part is the chapter three of the text, which mainly discusses the aesthetic characteristics of "exile theme" in the novels of Northeast Exiled Writers. It mainly analyzes from two aspects: The unique regional culture of Northeast China,as well as the inherent tragic meaning and "melancholy" sentiment of the exiled literature. The fifth part is the conclusion, which summarizes the ideas and conclusions of this paper.Pointing out the innovation and shortcomings of the research based on the existing research, introspecting and explaining the problems which not mentioned and not discussed in this paper, and looking forward to the prospect of the in-depth study of the Northeast Exiled Writers,as well as the possibility of studying Chinese Modern Exile Literature. |
