Research On The Characters In Yuxian Paper-cut Opera And Its Design Application

This paper takes Yuxian’s regional historical environment as the background,takes Yuxian’s paper-cutting opera characters as the research object,uses the method of literature research and field research to collect relevant documents of Yuxian’s opera characters’ paper-cutting,and visits the Yuxian paper-cutting inheritor’s studio.Understand the general situation of paper-cutting characters in Yuxian opera,explore the origin and development of the characters in Yuxian paper-cutting operas,as well as the cultural connotation implied,summarize and classify the themes of the characters in opera,and explore the characteristics of the characters in paper-cutting operas in Yuxian in the following article.Artistic features foreshadowing.Using the analysis and research method of modeling characteristics,case study method and comparative induction method,the representative character modeling in historical stories and mythological stories are selected respectively,and the geometrical generalization of the body,facial features and head modeling of the characters is analyzed in detail.The proportions,color features,clothing patterns,composition and line language of the characters.Through the analysis and induction of the characters of Yuxian paper-cut operas,this paper summarizes and explores the artistic characteristics of the characters in Yuxian paper-cut operas,and applies them to design practice.In the practical part of this paper,based on the theoretical basis of the previous analysis and exploration,in the form of a questionnaire,it analyzes the demand for the development of the derivative products of Yuxian paper-cut opera characters and the design of decorative murals.By combining the results of theoretical analysis and survey data,the artistic characteristics of the characters in opera are extracted,enriched and transformed,and the traditional paper-cut culture and modern elements are combined to design,and applied to the interior display derivatives and decorative murals of the Yuxian Paper-cut Museum.The purpose of this paper is to analyze and explore the artistic characteristics of the characters in Yuxian paper-cut operas,and to carry out innovative design applications based on the original theoretical analysis,to explore the relationship between traditional paper-cut art and modern design,and how traditional paper-cut art can be used in modern times.The performance and application in design not only have certain significance for the modern design and application of folk paper-cut,but also provide certain reference ideas and methods for future related research and practice.
